PSALM 61 V 1.

SUPPLICATION, " Hear My Cry 0 God," King David had many experiences of sinning against God and crying out for forgiveness. I will cry unto God most High, unto God that performs all things for me. I wonder how many of us hide under the wings of God until the calamities are past and then proceed on our worldly way of life. V 2. " Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I." PSALM 62 v 5-8 My soul, wait only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my Rock and my salvation. He is my defence I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory, the Rock of my strength and my refuge is in God.. Trust in Him at all times. What a glorious encouragement are these verses to us. Have we reached a stage in our Christians lives when we too can say these verses in a meaningful way, We need to remind ourselves of the greatness of our God. - the sacrifice made for our redemption and the indwelling Holy Spirit in true worshippers of God V 3, DECLARATION> " For You have been a shelter for me.' PSALM 91 v 1-2 ; He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. V 3. EXALTATION. " And a strong tower from the enemy." Nothing weak about this tower which is the refuge for the Christians when trials and tribulations beset us.. Let them also that love Your name be joyful in You, For You Lord will bless the righteous, with favour will you compass him as with a shield. V 4. IDENTIFICATION, " I will trust in the covert of Your wings." The psalmist seems to have daily prayer to God, rejoices in His having access to the "Strong Tower " and shows others his love for his God. I wonder if our neighbours and workmates know that we have a mighty God and that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.. David was known to his people as one who loved God We should not have to wear a uniform but rather let Christ be seen working out His purposes in us and through us to those people round about us. Far more satisfactory. PSALM 51 v 15 ; 0 Lord open my lips and my mouth shall show forth Thy praise. V 5, OBSERVATION, " For You 0 God have heard my vows." In the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me. He shall set me up upon a rock and now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me. Therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy. I will sing praises unto the Lord. Is it really too difficult to believe that which God says in His Scriptures ? V 5. REDEMPTION, "" You have given me the heritage of those that fear Your name." PSALM 72 v 12-14 ; For He shall deliver the needy when he crieth the poor also and he that has no helper.
