Artists and women affected by breast cancer together for a good cause

THE PROJECT This project is a collaboration between artists and women who have survived breast cancer or are struggling with the disease. The purpose of this project is to give these women the courage to show that a woman is also a woman without breasts, that life goes on and prove that women do not have to hide. Because it seems to be an unspoken rule in this society that physical integrity must be restored to any price. We wish that the society finally accepts that nothing will be as before, just as patients have to feel it first hand. We wish that these women have in collaboration with artists, magical moments, moments of joy and unforgettable moments. We want to prove with art and our support as artists the courage of these women.

WHY?

Artists dedicate their talent to join this cause. This project will be primarily for women and to give attention that individual efforts can trigger a social backlash of support. It is through art sensitize women and family carry the message ... Living with Breast Cancer. There is still much resistance to bring a message of prevention and sensitization to a paciente. Many women with this disease are overly concerned about physical aspects which in reality are not as far-reaching because it is not a matter of life or death ... however, breast cancer, yes. Also we want to pay attention that before a physical imperfection, it is more important to worry about doing a self exam every month. Mainly we want people who have had breast cancer feel confident to share their experiences through art. We believe our project can help mentally and physically.

We want to help these women to accept their bodies and give them the opportunity with art media and in collaboration with artists, photographers and so on to express their experiences, emotions and thoughts and with this project to make a call to society.

ARTWORKS

WHY THIS ART ACTIVITIES AGAINST BREAST CANCER?

Painting: The paint can being a feeling and release

blocked emotions.

Sculpture:The artist conveys the strength of their hands

and a work planner strategy that will perpetuate an image.

Photography: Through the lens recreates a moment in

life.

Music: Raise awareness, harmonizing the senses is

achieved with the vibration

Artworks by the artists for the online exhibition on the fight against breast cancer will be donated. The physical exhibition will be made with the works that are made on the dates of events in Alicante in the presence of artists and women affected by breast cancer. The artworks made in these events will be donated to the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer) as like the artworks for the online expo will go on sale and there will also benefit the AECC. The Artist will sign a contract. We send you the contract to your email. So please ensure you let us know your email adress.

DONATIONS

Online Exhibition

We want to inform you that the uploaded artworks by the artists for the online exhibition on the fight against breast cancer will be incorporated into an online exhibition of the project pentagrama. If you want to donate your work, please send us your work with complete data to info.pentagrama @ gmail.com.

Donated artworks are offered for sale and the profits will go to the AECC (Spanish Association against cancer)

Other works are exhibited without sale.

Physical Exhibition

The physical exhibition will be made with the works that are made on the dates of events in Alicante in the presence of artists and women affected by breast cancer. The artworks made in these events will be donated to the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer) . You can send artworks you want donate and expose in the physical exposition. (post address to be confirmed)

The Artist will sign a contract. We send you the contract to your email. So please ensure to let us know your email adress!

ARTIST NAME TECHNIQUE PRICE AUTHOR SIZE COUNTRY AND WITHOUT ANY ADD OF TEXT IN THE PICTURE to info.pentagrama @ gmail.com. Simple contracts are sent to the artists, so please make sure you let us know your email adress!!!
