Why do you wish to become the Commander of the S.W.A.T Division?:[/b] [i]I wish to become Commander of the S.W.A.T Division because at the current time with the issues we have to deal with everyday out on the street just "to Protect and to Serve" the citizens of Los Santos. The past few days there have been shooutouts and SWAT has been needed but wasnt able to be dispatched due to that division having no commanding officer. Just last week I was out on patrol around El Corona when I heard a message over the radio from an Officer requesting immediate assistance and informed that shots had been fired. When I arrived I could see him pinned down by automatic weapon fire by his Patrol car, he had been hit a few times. As more and more officers arrived on scene, thair fire rate increaed. We were unable to get to the officer that had been hit by his Patrol car, with the odds we had, Glock 11's against Assault rifles we did all we could with the weapons we had but it wasnt good enough. In the end they decided to run away and we could finnaly reach the Injured officer, but by the time the ambulance arrived, he had already died. SWAT is needed alot, not just for when the Police call 911, It's needed for dealing with arrest warrants and raids. Last month when we raided the home of a gang to deal with an arrest warrent, we didnt know at the time but they were heavily armed. As soon as we approched they began to open fire on officers, unfortunatly we lost two officers that day. SWAT is also needed to deal with armed robberys. The ammound of officers killed in bank robberys is unbelievable, although it isnt very common for them to occur. Then tonight when officers were ambushed in temple that lead to an EMT being taken hostage which lead to officers getting injured and an EMT fearing for his life.[/i] [b]9.
