Boost Mobile Community Relations Guidelines & Application

Boost Mobile is a wholly-owned division of Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) that offers prepaid wireless phones and services with no long-term contracts, credit checks or activation fees. Boost is among the most popular prepaid wireless brands in the U.S and now has approximately four million customers - the majority of which are 18 to 34 years old. Boost Mobile seeks to enhance the lives of young people by contributing to youth development programs. Support is provided at the local and national level. Types of support include in-kind donations of phones and service, direct financial support and employee volunteerism. Charitable areas of focus include support for education, life experiences, health and other programs that help young people boost their lives. Boost will consider proposals from nonprofit organizations that integrate or promote our unique brand and service. Please note that Boost Mobile does not guarantee support and reserves the right to amend and/or make exceptions to these guidelines. Eligibility, Request and Review Process Eligibility: To be eligible for support, an organization must: Be a 501(c)(3) organization Be non-denominational Benefit customers in communities throughout the areas we service Submit its sponsorship request in writing Boost Mobile generally does not provide support for the following: Individuals Political causes or candidates Religious organizations Civic sports leagues, tournaments or school athletic organizations For-profit organizations Equipment other than wireless phones Office space for permanent operations (temporary operations will be evaluated on individual basis)

Page 2 Criteria: Each application is evaluated on its merits. We consider the following criteria when evaluating each proposal: Alignment with the Boost brand and our business goals Youth impact and participation Quality of the event or program Size and type of constituency served by the applicant organization Relevance of the event or program to Boost Mobiles products and services Promotional opportunities and/or recognition for Boost Mobile Category exclusivity Extent of organization/cause/event relevance to the area of youth development

Review Process: Boost Mobiles Community Relations team reviews proposals on an annual basis. Proposals may be submitted via e-mail to communityrelations@boostmobile.com. Boost Mobile will make every effort to respond to requests. However, due to the high volume of requests, Boost Mobile cannot guarantee a response to all charitable requests. When making a request, please allow 2-3 months lead-time. Proposal Deadlines and Award Dates: Proposal Deadline: Any day on or before September 1, 2008 Award date: on or before February 1, 2009 Mandatory Proposal Format: The proposal must contain a Description Section and a Document Section. The Description Section must include the following elements to describe the organization: 1) Short overview of mission and history 2) Review of services provided 3) Synopsis of the number of employees organized by type and status (e.g. Our staff includes: three counselors, one executive director, etc.) 4) Overview of client demographics 5) Previous affiliation with, or support from, wireless service providers, if any 6) Description of the proposed use(s) of Boost funds, and, or product and 7) Simple table that breaks-down all of the costs associated with the proposal The Document Section must contain an original or photocopy of the following documents: 1) The IRS letter confirming the organizations 501(c) status (not applicable to government entities) 2) The organizations most recent audited financial statement (government entities: submit applying units current budget) 3) A list of the organizations Board of Directors with each directors private sector title and company affiliation 4) A list of the organizations largest donors (public and private) in the previous calendar year
