The high-purity or even ultra-purity quality of nitrogen is the distinctive property of this PSA-range IMT-PN nitrogen generators. The nitrogen generators produce nitrogen from compressed air available on-site, or supplied by a dedicated compressed air generator. The air is purified by pre-filtration which eliminates impurities, such as humidity, oil vapour, particles and hydrocarbon. The filtrated compressed air stream is channelled into the CMSFilter being in filtration mode. While the air is passing through the filter, the oxygen and carbon dioxide molecules are eliminated and the air dew point is lowered. As a result, a clean, dry stream of high-purity nitrogen gas is originated, which can be used for the widest variety of applications.
