Registration:
All those who are interested to participate must register for the conference before the deadline. Submission of abstract is not mandatory to register and participate in the conference. Free accommodation will be provided on shared basis in ladies and gents hostel. Instructions to follow: Fill the form in CAPITAL letters legibly. Candidates who are interested to participate in pre-conference workshop should send their resume along with the registration form. Selected candidates will be informed within 5 working days. Registration fee for workshop can be paid through DD/Online within 5 days of receiving the confirmation letter. Those who are willing to avail guest house facility are requested to draw DD along with the registration fee. DD for the registration should be drawn in favor of Genetic Engineering Association payable at Chennai. Poster Presentation:
Abstract should not exceed 200 words. Abstracts for the posters may be submitted online at http://srmgenetics-conf.blogspot.com or by e-mail gmdmm.conf@gmail.com Selection of the abstract and guidelines for presentation will be communicated by e-mail within 5 working days after receiving the abstracts. The best poster in each of the following categories will be recognized with an award: cytogenetics, developmental genetics, cancer genetics, molecular genetics and genetic counseling. Registration of atleast one author for the conference is mandatory for poster presentation. Certificates will be given only to the registered participants.

Pre-conference workshops:
Two one-day pre-conference workshops will be conducted to provide hands-on experience for the clinicians and scientists to update themselves with the advanced molecular techniques used in the diagnosis of genetic disorders. Candidates those who are interested should send their resume along with the application form. It would be a great opportunity for clinicians and scientists to equip themselves with recent molecular diagnostic techniques used world wide. Workshop will be conducted at two levels to cover both novice and amateur. o Basic Level: Hands-on training on PCR, Real-time PCR and DNA Sequencing Advanced Level: Detection of allelic variations in FMR1 gene by novel PCR and fragment analysis methods. Subject experts and instrument specialists will be available for interaction. o
