Luskadi Ta Askatasunak, nazio askapenerako euskal erakunde sozialista iraultzaileak, Adierazpen honen bidez
bere erabakiaren berri enan nahi dio Luskal Herriari:
Luskal Herrian burutu berri den Nazioarteko KonIerentzia garrantzi politiko handiko ekinena dela deritzogu.
Adostutako ebazpenak gatazkaren konponbide osorako osagaiak biltzen ditu eta nazioartearen eta euskal
jendartearen sektore anitzen babesa du.
Luskal Herrian aro politiko berri bat zabaltzen ari da. Mendetako gatazka politikoari konponbide justu eta
denokratikoa enateko aukera historikoa dago. lndarkeria eta errepresioaren aurrean elkarrizketak eta
akordioak ezaugarritu behar dute aro berria. Luskal Herriaren aitortza eta herri borondatearekiko begirunea
ukazioari gailendu behar zaizkio. Hori da euskal herritarren gehiengoaren nahia.
Urte luzeetako borrokak sortu du aukera. Lz da bide erraza izan. orrokaren gogorrak burkide asko betiko
eranan dizkigu. este asko espetxea edo erbestea pairatzen ari dira. ihoakie guztiei gure aitortza eta
onenaldirik sentituena.
Henendik aurrerako bidea ere ez da erraza izango. raindik orain dirauen zapalkuntzaren aurrean, urrats
bakoitza, lorpen bakoitza, euskal herritarren ahalegin eta borrokaren enaitza izango da. ide honi ekiteko
Luskal Herriak aski esperientzia eta indar netatu du urteotan eta badu horretarako erabakitasuna ere.
Ltorkizunari itxaropenez begiratzeko unea da. aita ausardiaz eta arduraz jokatzeko unea ere.
Honenbestez,
LTAk bere jarduera arnatua behin-betiko anaitzea erabaki du. LTAk Lspainia eta Frantziako gobernuei dei
egiten die, gatazkaren ondorioei konponbide enatea helburu izango duen elkarrizketa prozesu zuzena
zabaltzeko, konIrontazio arnatua gainditu ahal izateko. Adierazpen historiko honekin LTAk bere konproniso
argi, sendo eta behin-betikoa erakusten du.
LTAk, azkenik, euskal jendarteari dei egiten dio konponbide prozesuan nurgil dadin, bake eta askatasun
agertoki bat sortu arte.

Declaracin de LTA
Luskadi Ta Askatasuna, organizacin socialista revolucionaria vasca de liberacin nacional, desea nediante
esta Declaracin dar a conocer su decisin:
LTA considera que la ConIerencia lnternacional celebrada recientenente en Luskal Herria es una iniciativa de
gran trascendencia politica. La resolucin acordada rene los ingredientes para una solucin integral del
conIlicto cuenta con el apoo de anplios sectores de la sociedad vasca de la conunidad internacional.
Ln Luskal Herria se esta abriendo un nuevo tienpo politico. Lstanos ante una oportunidad istrica para dar
una solucin |usta denocratica al secular conIlicto politico. Frente a la violencia la represin el dialogo el
acuerdo deben caracterizar el nuevo ciclo. Ll reconociniento de Luskal Herria el respeto a la voluntad
popular deben prevalecer sobre la inposicin. Lse es el deseo de la naoria de la ciudadania vasca.
La luca de largos aos a creado esta oportunidad. o a sido un canino Iacil. La crudeza de la luca se a
llevado a nucas conpaeras conpaeros para sienpre. Otros estan suIriendo la carcel o el exilio. ara ellos
ellas nuestro reconociniento nas sentido onena|e.
Ln adelante el canino tanpoco sera Iacil. Ante la inposicin que an perdura cada paso cada logro sera
Iruto del esIuerzo de la luca de la ciudadania vasca. A lo largo de estos aos Luskal Herria a acunulado la
experiencia Iuerza necesaria para aIrontar este canino tiene tanbien la deterninacin para acerlo.

Francia para abrir un proceso de dialogo directo que tenga por ob|etivo la resolucin de las consecuencias
del conIlicto asi la superacin de la conIrontacin arnada. LTA con esta declaracin istrica nuestra su

ETA's DECLARATION

With this declaration, Euskadi Ta Askatasuna, the Basque socialist revolutionary organization for national
liberation, wishes to give news of its decision:

ETA considers that the International Conference that has recently taken place in the Basque Country is
an initiative of enormous significance. The agreed resolution includes all the elements for an integral
solution of the conflict, and it has attained the support of a wide spectrum of the Basque society and the
international community.

A new political time is emerging in the Basque Country. We have a historical opportunity to find a just and
democratic solution for the centuries-old political conflict. Dialogue and agreement should outline the new
cycle, over violence and repression. The recognition of the Basque Country and the respect for the will of
the people should prevail over imposition.

This has not been an easy journey. The cruelty of the fight has taken away the lives of many comrades.
Many others are still suffering in prison and in exile to them we give our recognition and deepest tribute.

From here onwards, the journey is not going to be easy either. Facing the imposition that still exists, every
step, every achievement, will be the result of the effort and fight of Basque citizens. During these years
the Basque Country has accumulated the necessary experience and strength to address this path and it
also has the determination for doing it. It is time to look at the future with hope. It is also time to act with
responsibility and courage.

Therefore, ETA has decided the definitive cease of its armed activity. ETA calls upon the Spanish and
French governments to open a process of direct dialogue with the aim of addressing the resolution of the
consequences of the conflict and, thus, to overcome the armed confrontation. Through this historical
declaration ETA shows its clear, solid and definitive commitment.

Lastly, ETA calls upon the Basque society to commit with this process of solutions until we build a context
of freedom and peace.
