Degree project:
Title: Security Analysis of Two password Authentication Schemes

In this scheme, the remote user does not use smart cards. It is convenient for the users to use a common storage device such as a universal serial bus memory. The scheme is easy to implement. However, this authentication scheme is vulnerable to impersonation attacks and middle man attacks. An attacker could impersonate users to login and access the remote server. At present we are using single card or the individual card for different applications like ATM card, Petrol card, Credit card etc. But in our project all the applications must be in the single card. Here we are using two passwords. One password is PIN number and another one is authentication password. In this project, we have following three modules. They are (i) Server authentication, (ii) Admin functionality and (iii) User authentication. In a smart card based password authentication scheme, the smart card takes the password from the users as input, computes the login message and sends the login message to the server.

Diploma project:
Title: Surveillance Alert System Generally there may be a chance for a theft to happen in more crowded areas such as jewelry shop, readymade and departmental stores etc. Usually a camera and TV is used to watch the crowd if there is any chance of happening theft. It is not possible to notice the TV for 24 hours. But in this system, an image processor is used to find the theft by giving an alarm. A web camera is used to find the theft. An original of that particular area is focused and stored in the image processor. Then the actual incidents are noticed by the image processor.

If there is any interrupt in the image, it will automatically get noticed and informed by giving an alarm. We can use this system 24 hours a day. It is very useful in Department stores, readymade stores, Jewelry shops, Banks, other important places etc.
