Mode of payment of fee (i) By Demand Draft Fee can be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank and the Demand Draft may be submitted in the office of the Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai 600 025 Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University and payable at Chennai. The student has to write his/her Name, Roll No., Semester No. and Contact Phone/Mobile No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft. Students submitting Demand Draft in the office of the Centre for Distance Education in person can get the fee receipt and collect the study materials the same day. Students sending Demand Draft through post/courier can collect the fee receipt and study materials from the Study Centre concerned.

(ii) By remittance in branch of Canara Bank Fee can also be remitted into the Savings Bank Account of the Centre for Distance Education standing in the Canara Bank by downloading the prescribed Challan, format of which is given hereunder. Fee can be remitted in any branch of Canara Bank. When the students remit the fee in any branch of Canara Bank they have to pay Rs.25/along with the fee as bank charges as per the orders of the Bank Authorities. Students remitting the fee in cash in the bank through challan have to submit the Office copy of the challan to the Director, Centre for Distance Education either in person or by post or courier immediately after remitting the fee. Students who can produce the students copy of the challan in person at the office of the Centre for Distance Education can collect the study materials in person from the office of the Director, Centre for Distance Education. Others can collect the study materials in person from the Study Centre concerned by producing the students copy of the challan. Study materials should be collected within fifteen days from the date of remittance of fee. Note: (i) Prevented students, who are redoing the course, need to pay Rs.9,500/- (Rupees Nine thousand five hundred only) if they do not require study materials. (ii) Differently abled students who have been allowed fee concession in the first Semester can pay by Demand Draft/remit Rs. 9,500/- (Rupees Nine thousand five hundred only) for the subsequent Semesters. Students submitting Demand Draft in this office of the CDE in person can get the fee receipt and course material the same day Students who pay the fee in the form of Demand Draft by post have to send the Demand Draft so as to reach this office on or before the last date. They have to send the Demand Draft along with this Proforma. They have to collect the fee receipt & course material from the respective Study Centre.
