I'm an earlier Shop Manager, (who have won a prestigious competition, 'Rimi Gullrer', in shop-management). I'm an economist, (I went on the economy-line, at Upper Secondary School, and from there I have diplomas in Basic Commerce and Office-work, Marketing and Data & Information Management). I've studied on six universities/university-colleges, (NHI, University of Oslo, Hedmark University College, Den Polytekniske Hyskole, Oslo University College and University of Sunderland). I have a blog, (www.johncons-mirror.blogspot.com), with more than one and a half million page-views. I'm a veteran from the Norwegian Infantry and Home Defence. I've been in politics, as an advisor for the Conservative Youth Party, in Norway, on their nation-wide election-programme, before the Municipality and County-elections, in 1991. I also have a web-shop, in Norwegian, (which I've designed myself from scratch), named Godtebutikken.net, where I sell Glacier Mints, and other sweets, from the UK, (since they've quite recently stopped selling Glacier Mints, in the shops, in Norway). Another of my main achievements, is perhaps when I made a Crossword Compilationprogramme, as a Final Year Project, (using the programming-language Pascal), as a student on NHI, in 1991/92. I'm also an intellectual. My opinion against removing insults as a crime, in Norway, a few years ago, was quoted, in a summary, regarding the public debate, for that year. It was also me who started the Wikipedia-page for 'harassment', in Norwegian, in 2008. I was also accepted by Ladders, in 2009, which means I have an income-potential higher than 50.000 a year, (even if I also apply for lower paid jobs at the moment, due to the economic climate). Managing and motivating a team of up to 30 employees; Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control; Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning; Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting employee-meetings, as well as providing or organising training and development; Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues; Responding to customer complaints and comments; Organising special promotions, displays and events; Chairing manager- and personell-meetings, and having open communication with assistants.
