Standard Competence 1. Understanding meaning of short written functional text and procedure, report, and explanation related to the surrounding and in academic contexts. Basic Competences 1. To correctly and efficiently understand stated meaning in short functional, procedural, report, and explanation texts in daily and or academic contexts. 2. to correctly and efficiently understand unstated meaning in short functional text, and short essay in the form of procedure, report, and explanation in daily and or academic context. Indicators 1.identify the main idea. 2. identify the stated and unstated information from the text 3. identify the language features of the text

The Goal of the lesson 1.The students are able to identify the main idea. 2. The students are able to identify the stated and unstated information from the text. 3. The students are able to identify the language features of the text. Teaching material Short functional text : Notice Method 1. Lecturing 2. Discussion 3. Assignation Steps of Learning and Teaching Activities a. Pre activity -Greeting students and checking their attendance -Asking and answering questions related to students situation.

b. Whilst activities - Teacher gives a diagram related to material. - Leadding the students by the questions related to material. - Teacher shows some examples of notices. - Students discuss the notices that are given by the teacher. - Teacher gives a certain condition or a name of place then ask the students to make appropriate notices base on the situation/place given. - Students answer the question about notice.
