CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background Issues

Communication and information is an important part of human life today. Information is needed because it can give knowledge of something and are used to help humans in the decision making process. Information obtained as a result of the communication, so it can be concluded that the information is preceded by a communication between two or more individuals or groups. In the era of computerization, as now, the Internet is a medium for the delivery of effective and efficient information. This is because the Internet is not limited to space and time, with the network we are able to surf the internet anywhere and anytime as long as it is connected to the Internet network. Developments in the internet world today is very fast and has demanded a lot of people to take advantage of 'cyberspace' in all its activities in the 'real world'. Thanks to advances in computer technology and data communications network, the Internet now can easily be enjoyed and utilized most of the people of the world, including Indonesia. Internet has been widely applied in various fields of life including entertainment, education, trade and others. The author did practical work at PT. Cahaya Madinah Tangerang, the Company is engaged in the ministry of Hajj and Umrah and serve other services such as travel, ticketing, passport and tourist Islamic.

Starting from the author's observation in the work environment practices, the company needs to have a website as a media campaign, with regard to this, the authors are interested in designing a website for the company's profile and try to practice the theme of work report entitled " DESIGNING DINAMIC WEB PROFILE USING PHP AND HTML "

1.2 Limitations The number of issues contained in the writing topics to be discussed, the authors need to limit the issues discussed is about the design of a website using PHP. In this report does not address the network topology used on the intranet, databases, hosting and configuration on the server.

1.3 Job Training Objectives The author's intent in this practical work are: 1. Meet one of the requirements of graduation program Strata One (S1) in Information Engineering. 2. Can delve deeper into the design of a website with PHP and HTML programming.

1. I personally get to experience the world of work. 2. Deepening the knowledge already gained in college curriculum and add new knowledge in the world of work.
