Marketing and Network Strategy This business entity will provide the following services, Maintenance of yard such as gardening, lawn mowing, the clearing up of leaves and other like such debris. Installation of Electrical equipment and the repairing of it thereof. Such as lighting fixtures, house wiring, etc. Pluming installation and repairing, fixing of pipes etc. We will market our firm by: 1. By initiating the design of a Logo duly copyrighted for the firm, this logo shall be printed on T-Shirts which we shall require all workers to wear on the Job. 2. All workers shall be provided with a work CUG cell phone, and shall be tasked with building clientele by word of mouth and handing out of business cards and post cards where expedient.

3. We shall publish from time to time an ad in the Gleaner and Star 4. We shall ensure that an ad is placed for the firm in the 2012 directory. 5. We shall give or cause to be delivered a set of post cards in various business establishments across the island in order that people who walk in to those establishments will see it on the counter, or wherever it may be suitable for these set of cards. So that customers will take them and become aware of our service. 6. As the company grow, a radio and TV ad may be considered for promotions

2. The person directing operations shall have in his possession a register, which shall log all current projects, the customer, and workers undergoing the projects. From this register he shall determine available workers to be sent on new projects when requested by customers to come and do. 3. Upon receipt of a request by a customer that a task is needed, the Director of Operations logs the location, type of task, name of customer and checks the register for available suitable workers, if all workers are busy on another task he must investigate the earliest time workers will be available for the project. Upon finding workers for that task he directs them to go on the site to do the task giving details such as name and address. 4. Before work begins, a small form will be signed obligating payment for service and will also outline work to be done, it shall contain all such features as location, name, phone number, category/subcategory of tasked to be ticked, a comment section, and a contractual note obliging payment for service. 5. After being sent to the site for work, we also need a pick-up truck or van to deliver necessary equipment when needed to workers carrying out all projects. If it is a construction project we will have to hire delivery or if the firm where construction materials is bought delivers, in this case a truck is needed

Operational Strategy 1. Herein contains the daily operation of projects; the firm and its employees shall be provided with a CUG phone of which a flat monthly bill is paid and unlimited calls between workers, the firm will be contacted by its customers to come and do a task be it to wire a house, install an AC, fix lighting etc

6. Payment for service shall be made after work is done, the same vehicle that delivers equipment or another vehicle if infeasible shall be used to go and collect payment for all service. 7. All workers shall be paid via internet banking NCBs Elink and workers may collect pay slip after, if a worker does not have an account they will be paid by cheque cashable at the firm for the time being, but they will be required to open an NCB account. Personnel Management Strategy We shall recruit personnel who are skilled workers, electricians, plumbers, masons, AC technicians and any person who can contribute their skills in applying our service. I leave this to further consultation as to whether all workers need to be certified, except electricians to wire house, since it is the law that its a must. All employees will be employed on a contract basis, they will not be on staff, and they will be paid for each task they do. For quality purposes customers MAY be given to complete a performance rating card with instructions for the card to be sealed in a small envelop so as to get feedback on the performance of workers.

It is deemed necessary that further consultation is needed as to whether the workers shall be paid a percentage of profit, or a fixed salary according to work category. A fixed salary means more profit for me. A percentage means no loss for me, because fixed salary paid may exceed the total profit. If more than one person is needed or sent on a site, a foreman is appointed among the group to oversee the given task.
