1. Grade: Librarian (Pay band Rs.15600-39100 & Grade pay Rs.7600) (Functional designation as Chief Information Manager) Tenure: 2 years. Exceptionally good candidates may be considered for a Regular position. If appointed on contract, salary will be a consolidated amount as per norms and further extension is possible based on performance. If appointed regular, probation norms will apply. Qualification: Masters Degree in Library Science/Information Science (under 10+2+3/4+2 scheme). Consistently good academic record. Ph.D. in relevant area may be an advantage. Experience: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in library of academic/research/ training institute of national/international repute, with at least 3 years in the immediate lower Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 (pre-revised scale of Rs.10000-325-15200).
