Abstract: In rural area despite positive attributes such as quiet, clean air, woods, lakes, slower pace and other amenities, there are numerous negative attributes stemming from isolation, such as limited numbers of stimulating jobs, reduced access to educational, cultural and entertainment opportunities, reduced peer interaction, and other positive attributes of urban life. Modern communications media, such as telephone, newspapers, magazines, radio and television, have helped, but there is still a lack of rapid, inexpensive, convenient, non-interruptive two-way communication facilities for rural use. Hundreds of millions of people still live in abject poverty with limited prospects for social and economic development In this paper we introduces a framework architecture, it helps to rural people can get better education, medical facilities and business opportunity in rural areas and agricultural benefit ,disaster recovery, microfinance and to implement the green computing environment.

Keywords: Cloud Computing, Rural Area, Business, Education, Disaster.

1. Introduction:

What is Cloud Computing? Cloud computing is the next generation in computation. Maybe Clouds can save the world; possibly people can have everything they need on the cloud. Cloud computing is the next natural step in the

evolution of on-demand information technology services and products. The Cloud is a metaphor for the Internet, based on how it is depicted in computer network diagrams, and is an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it conceals. It is a style of computing in which IT-related capabilities are provided as a service, allowing users to access technology-enabled services from the Internet (i.e., the Cloud) without knowledge of, expertise with, or control over the technology infrastructure that supports them. Email was probably the first service on the cloud. As the computing industry shifts toward providing Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) for consumers and enterprises to access on demand regardless of time and location, there will be an increase in the number of Cloud platforms available. But it seems that Cloud computing cannot save the universe. Cloud computing cannot run for President. Cloud computing is a very specific type of computing that has very specific benefits. But it has specific negatives as well. And it does not serve the needs of real businesses to hear only the hype about cloud computing both positive and negative. One thing that is hoped to be accomplished with this paper is not only a clear picture of what the cloud does extremely well and a brief overview of them, but also a short survey on their criteria and challenges ahead of them.

2. Current Trends in Rural Area:

Rural Area in India

Figure1: Hierarchy of Information technology uses in India

In this figure 1 we have explain the current scenario of the computer uses in rural India. In rural area every thing seems to depend on to the other .Rural

area has the quality people (in limited manner). But they face the problem of infrastructure and financial assistance from these points the rural Indian peoples have not developed at a big level. In India there is problem of good technical institution for the rural area and for the rural people. Even for the jobs people only depend on the metro cities, for disaster recovery no life line. Cloud computing is a paradigm that focuses on sharing data and computations over a scalable network of nodes. Examples of such nodes include end user computers, data centers, and Web Services. We term such a network of nodes as a cloud. An application based on such clouds is taken as a cloud application. Basically cloud is a metaphor for internet and is an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it conceals. The main idea is to use the existing infrastructure in order to bring all feasible services to the cloud and make it possible to access those services regardless of time and location. Whether its called Cloud Computing or On-demand Computing, Software as a Service, or the Internet as Platform, the common element is a shift in the geography of computation. When you create a spreadsheet with the Google Docs service, major components of the software reside on unseen computers, whereabouts unknown, possibly scattered across continents. The role of agricultural research, education and development Institutions is critical to content generation and skills development. Ignoring them in the communication loop limits the National Agricultural Extension Systems capacity to contribute to agricultural development Infrastructure from the Rural Indian case, in my opinion, the infrastructure/network development approach, especially for the use of the Internet and Digital Technologies, is lopsided. Without useful and relevant content, most of the Government and Public Sector initiatives, even if the network is established, cannot be sustained. In this current approach for every kind of facilities rural people get huge loss as financially and it takes much time, which are the major constraints

Figure 2: A Cloud Based Approach 3. A Cloud based approach for rural area: Figure 2 is show a proposed cloud based approach for the rural people to use the facilities of cloud computing in their daily uses. In this approach we have set a cloud between the user and the application .from this every thing get easy in terms of accessing to them. 3.1. Some of the Advantages: 3.1.1 Reduced Cost: Cloud technology is paid incrementally (you pay only for what you need), saving organizations money in the short run. Money saved can be used for other important resources. 3.1.2 Increased Storage: Organizations can store more data than on private computer systems. 3.1.3. Highly Automated: IT personnel not needed to keep software up to date as maintenance is the job of the service provider on the cloud. 3.1.4. More Mobility: Employees can access information wherever they are, rather than having to remain at their desks. 3.1.5. Allows IT to Shift Focus: No longer having to worry about constant server updates and other computing issues, government organizations will be free to concentrate on innovation.

4. A Cloud based approach benefits: 4.1. Rural Education:

In the cloud based approach no need of any kind of third party to access the service, has a direct connection with the application, when a user requesting for the any service application layer set back the response to the rural people, all application are connected with each other If a user interacts with any online application, e-mail, online social networking, online slide show creation, online design tools, online mind mapping and file conversion, collaborative software, social media, online data storage or any other internet-based application, actually user interacts with Cloud Computing environment.

There are many examples throughout the world where educational institutes have taken initiatives in cloud computing to better serve their faculties, students and researchers. Architecture for setting up private cloud can be distinct according to the purpose

13

and infrastructure of the institution. It is possible to build cloud computing infrastructure depending on the existing resources in the institutions. Existing resources in the institution campuses can also be virtualized effectively to provide flexibility and more abstract services like Figure 2 shows the architecture of rural cloud. Institutes can build their private educational cloud over their existing computational resources. Multiple schools and colleges can also come together and build a hybrid cloud over their combined resources. The resources needed for building cloud can also be added incrementally. So there is flexibility regarding how to build and provide cloud computing Support for educational application. In the first case existing local area Network can be used to access the cloud service whereas in later case public network should be used to access the cloud service. In hybrid educational cloud, the resources required for cloud backend can also be distributed through different campuses or institutions.. For cloud computing, privacy is one of the prime concerns where the service provider asks for disclosure some of the personal information. It may be regarding the user or regarding the data user wish to store or process in cloud. In the current financial crisis and being challenged by growing needs, universities are facing problems in providing necessary information technology (IT) support for educational, research and development activities. We can set the cloud for and serve the better facilities without infrastructure in rural area the above study show this parameter that if person from the rural area of India want the better education and knowledge ,he will not depend on the metro cities or better institute 4.2. Business opportunity in rural area: This case presents a cloud computing technology in our proposed solution that gives promising to get better service for using information technology which will improve business opportunities in rural villages. using Cloud computing solution to overcoming huge cost of IT expenses in rural supermarket expansion hurdle and with minimal set up fees to implement existing technology to move cloud technology. This Cloud IT solution helps to the company centralized inventory management and distributes system to track their inventory reports by store level and with user access to company data any where internet permits. With ERP solution, multilevel of access and enterprise security will benefit to the company more matured

. Threats and security concerns which are associated with cloud computing are surely not going to effect the educational area as those concerns are primarily related with industry. Higher education was acknowledged in time as one of the pillars of rural society development. Through the partnerships between universities, government and industry, researchers and students have proven their contribution to the transformation of society and the entire world economy (Lazowska et al., 2008). The tendency observed during the last few years within the higher education level (Mircea, 2010; Bozzelli, 2009), is the universities transition to research universities and ongoing update of the IT (Information Technology) infrastructure as foundation for educational activities and Science research. With the evolution of technology, the number of services which migrate from traditional form to the online form grows as well. For these specific services, an adequate providing form must be found in the online environment, using the proper technologies, guaranteeing the access of large number of users, fast and secure payment services...

and it helps to Rural India has seen impressive growth in the past few years. Substantial According to a National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) study, the consuming class households in rural areas equals the number in urban. For a number of Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and service industry in the country, more than half their annual sales come from the rural market. The rising importance of the rural markets reflects not only the saturation in urban markets, but also the huge potential, which rural markets have to offer, both in terms of the emerging middle class and the impressive growth rates of the rural consumer market Indias 73% of population lives in the rural areas and villages. This rural segment, commonly referred to as the bottom of the pyramid showing a huge opportunity for companies. Even for the people, who can afford a computer become a headache to maintain, upgrade and buy licenses for the software on regular basis. Also, they need to carry their computer everywhere they go. If a personal computer can be made available on cloud, accessible from any where, that too free or minimal

14

charges (pay-as-you-use) rural people can afford and grow their personnel life. The Cloud Computing can help the rural population in overcoming the huge costs incurred on infrastructure, software etc., hurdles and it can lead to rural area development and an overall economic progress of the nation. Using cloud computing to reduce price will create a world without poverty. 4.3. Health care in rural area: Advancing the quality of healthcare is a key development objective. In fact, three of the eight MDGs adopted by the United Nations pertain to healthcare combating HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases; improving maternal health; and reducing child mortality. In developing countries and rural areas, a high percentage of healthcare complications and fatalities arise out of medical errors, misdiagnoses, and the lack of basic knowledge and expertise. One objective of healthcare NGOs in developing countries is to improve the level of expertise among medical professionals serving these communities. However, despite the best of intentions from all sides, a practical challenge that these organizations face is the difficulty of brokering exchanges and communications among interested parties those looking for assistance and those willing to provide it.

evacuee and survivor tracking.. The purpose of cloud computing initiative in rural area was to match available resources and volunteers to houses that needed repairs. 4.5 Agricultural in rural area: Cloud computing and mobile technologies for Indian farmers are what Frontal Rain Technologies, a start-up launched by three software professionals in Bangalore, will offer. Using technology to solve agribusiness problems is a growing entrepreneurial opportunity as public and private investment in the agro-sector increases.

4.4. Cloud in Disaster Recovery: While disaster recovery is not directly a development objective in India, the increased incidence of hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, floods, and other disasters is displacing communities and causing tremendous damage throughout the world. Hurricane Katrina in the United States or T-tsunami in India was a reminder that no community including those in wealthy nations with substantial resources at their disposal to manage emergencies is immune to the logistical nightmare of major evacuation and recovery operations. In fact, when the official response to Hurricane Katrina was deemed sorely in sufficient; a number of grass-roots and community organized initiatives sprang up. These efforts were able to leverage the power of Web based services to get up and running quickly and with minimal resources. One such initiative was the creation of an online database running entirely on shared infrastructure for

4.6 .Other benefits: 4.6.1 e-Governance 4.6.2 Microfinance in Rural area 4.6.3 Information management. Conclusion: In the cloud based approach we study about the basic requirement of the rural India and what are the better the solution. Cloud computing has the potential to revolutionize the computing facilities institutions provided to their students in a cost effective way, thus centralized cloud infrastructure can satisfy all infrastructures related needs of those institutes on demand even though its critics and drawbacks, it seems that Cloud Computing is here to stay in rural India and make the facilities better like agricultural, education health care ,emergency and microfinance and e-governance .In future we study on we set the advanced parameter in the cloud service for the rural area.
