maintenance   of   TGP   Camp   Colony     i.e   maintenance     of   Resident’s   and   non 
residential Buildings , water supply and sanitary arrangements etc, maintance  of 
Project house at K.R. Dam, maintenance of 125 KVA Generator   ford tractor, 
Tailer and one Ambulance Van AAN 9847. 

This Section also in charge of completed Earth Dam Km 8.500 to 10.752 of 
K.R.Dam.

constructed in the camp TGP Colony @ K.R.Dam.

                Internals roads were formed in T.G.P Camp Colony @ K.R.Dam 
including Pheriperal road with bolock top.

IV)   APPROACH ROAD: 
                 
            
An approach road was formed with B.T Surface Connecting the colony to 
Rapur­Podalakur Road with a length of 3.00 Km up to Quarter No: DEE­6 to 
project house 0.60km, laying of B.T renewal Coat is completed during the year 
1999 ­2000 and Tender has finilised has laying of B.T renewal coat ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­
roads. 

 V)    FOR
    WATER   SUPPLY   ARRANGEMENTS   TO   T.G.P   CAMP  
COLONY AT K.R.DAM: 

The following submergible motors were installed at the places noted against 
each. 
  
1) 7.50 HP   Sub   mergible  : Installed @ B type Quarters
motor
2) 10.00 HP   Sub   mergible  : Installed @D type Quarters near Hotal 
motor junction
3) 2.50 HP   Sub   mergible  : Installed @ km 10.00 of Dam
motor
4) 7.50 HP   Sub   mergible  : Installed   in   the   forest   nursery   garden 
motor near   D/S   of   10.60   km   of   K.R.Dam 
(both project house & camp colony)
5) 2.50 HP   Sub   mergible  : Installed in nursery garden near 10.750 
motor km of K.R.Dam for (Project House.)
6) 7.50 HP   Sub   metgible  : Installed in between 7.50 HP and 2.50 
motor HP in forest nursery. The motor was got 
repaired.   For   repairing   the   motor   we 
have tried to remove the motor from the 
bore well but after removing two pipes 
the motor was struck – up by the rock. 
We have tried with chain pulley block 
up to 12 tone capacity but failed next 
trail we tried  with lorry compressor but 
the motor along with 8 pipes (80feets) 
struck up in the bore well. The matter 
was   reported   vide   lr.no   424/DEE 
AE3/dt.25­09­02   and   the   matter   was 
also reported to the Executive Engineer 
SSLC & SB Division No: 2, Nellore by 
the   Deputy   Executive   Engineer,SSLC 
& Sb sub division no: IV K.R.Dam.
7) 2nos Sub mergible motor  Are available in store (one is working 
condition and the other is repair)

In addition to the above motors bore wells 2 nos of hand bore wells are 
provided  in the colony 1) One No. Near S­1 Quarters, 2) another bore well on the 
west side of the D­ type block no: 39 in the camp colony.

The Detailed pipe line along with location of bore wells and distribution 
system is also enclosed along with charge papers.

The TGP Camp Colony is electrified with the HT Supply with Sc No: NLR 
033.   After   regular   enquiry   and   official   correspondence   the   HT   supply   was 
converted in to residential and non­ residential buildings comes to 323 services. 
The C.C charges will be paid individually except camp office vacant residential 
buildings, Hospitals, store sheds, project house, motors and street lights.
  N:B:­ The Meters which were fixed by the TGP authorization are handed 
over to AP Transco, authorities  during the time of HT  to L.T conversion time. 
The Transco authorities are replaced the old meters and fixed the AP Transco, 
Meters 40 nos of meters were surrendered to AP Transco authorities as there 
Quarters are vacant since long time and intimated DEE vide this office letter No: 
247 Dt 27.11.2007. The list of 40 nos was enclosed here with.

The L.T lives and 2.00 KVA Transformers was handed over to AP Transco 
authories. At present we are not maintaining the above structures.

The   following   non­residential   buildings   and   residential   buildings   are 


handed   over   to   AP   SWR   School   for   girls   as   per   proceedings   No: 
EE/TGP/NLR/A4/62mmdt: 3­3­98 forwarded vide sub divisional Lr.No: 174 DT: 
10.09.98.

handed over to the principal APSWR Scholl K.R.Dam on rental basis under the 
maintained   of   TGP   authorities   vide   Divisional   proceedings   No: 
EE/NLR/A4/624m Dt: 3.9.99. Forwarded vide sub. Divisional proceedings no: 
172s dt 10.9.98.

21.4.99 forwarded by the Deputy Executive Engineer Lr.No.595 dt   6.5.99. The 
site was with the following measurements.

                            A Case of S.No: 741/89 was finalised in the district municipal  
court Nellore the amount maintained in “DECREE” was also paid to Sri G.S 
Prasad in the Court. The Contractor was applied in the District court for other 
payments.   The   work   is   pending   in   the   Court.   The   following   documents   were 
proceded in the court through the Government pleader in connection with above

NOTES ON WORKS IN EARTH DAM REACHES :

1) The formation of Earth bund and portation work on u/s side is completed. 
The construction of cluster Drains on D/S side tender was finalized and 
the work is yet to be started. 
2)  REACH FORM KM: 10.00 TO 10.752 KM  :­   
               The Earth bund work and revetment works on U/S side was completed 
from 10.380 to 10.752 km of K.R.Dam. Construction to drain from Km.10.000 to 
10.752km   is   also   completed.  The   formation   of   cleave   blanket   from   10.000   to 
10.752 km is also completed. Spreading of picked meteal on D/s side slopes was 
also completed from km. 10.500 to 10.752 km of K.R.Dam.
  
  N:B::     The work for raising the embankment up to TBL form km. 10.000 to 
10.500   of   K.R.Dam   which   was   sanctioned   in   OSD/   TGP/499/84­85for 
1,31,02,00/­ was entrusted to M/S Harwies  Construction vide Agt.No.155/85­86. 
The value of Agt. Rs, 78, 22,990/­ and period of agreement is 24 months and the 
value and the date of handling over of site 5.7.85 the constructions has completed 
embankment work and stopped. The work is under orbitation and final bill is to 
be paid

V.H.F  WIRELESS   SET:­  The V.H.S Wireless set was installed in the Project 


house during 1/97 handaded over by   Sri. K.V.V Sathyanarayana, A.E. The set 
was in working condition up to 7/98. The set got repairs during 7/98. as per the 
directions of the District Collector office authorities. The set was handed over to 
M/S. Ever Green Electronics, R.R. Street, Nellore. They have informed that the 
set may require Major replacement and repairs. The matter was reported to the 
Executive Engineer, TGP Division No: 2 .during the 9/98. So, for the set was not 
received.   Only   antenna   and   12V   ­13   plates’   battery   physically   available.   The 
original Hand receipt of the “Firm M/S. Ever Green Electronics” is here with 
enclosed with the charge papers

The work was compledted and tested. The work water supply
arrangements from Reservoir to TGP Camp colony @ K.R.Dam is intended to
the residents of colony people for Drinking water. But due to non- sufficient
water level is reservoirs the water supply to the colony people are not restored. At
present the water supply has given through the existing submergible pumps.

A movable shed with G.I Sheet is constructed @ U/S of reservoir bund


@ km 10.00. The Pipe line was laying with 100 mm Dia GI Pipes (old) and
80mm dia GI pipe
(new) including spewals from motor shed @ Km 10.00 to 10.750 on top of bund
and also from top of bund @ Km 10.00 to existing pipe line in colony @ Hotel
junction. The pipe line was also laying with 100mm dia GI pipe old and 80 mm
GI pipes new with gate values elbows. GI bends, non return valves etc @ the
places 2.50 Hp motor shed , Z.P.P High School, Elementary School at Quarter
no: A/25, D/1, to D/29, D/196 and forest nursery etc. The following items were
items dismantled and kept @ stores for safe custody.

The Project house at kandaleru dam is constructed during the year 1986-87
and opened for occupation form 9/87 on wards. The project house consisting of
four suits with Air condition facilities conference hall, ss dining hall store room
and kitchen. The project house is also attached with four “C” Type Quarters in
tow blocks for the staff working in project house. A Car garage with ‘1’ Dia GI
pipe with A./C Sheet roof top is also constricted pm the south west side of the
main building out side the compound wall. A sundial was constructed at High
level on the south East side of the building. A water storage tank is also
constructed to fill the water for garden plants if any continues power supply
occurred. Four chain link mesh received from Sub division no II K.R Dam and
fixed the same presently form east side compound wall. A Sramika Vijayam
statue was constructed by some of the Donors and handed over to the project
house authorities for maintenance of the statue near the toe of the site.
A maintenance estimate for water supply and sanitary arrangements and
staff salaries, Telephone Charges and C.C Charges for the year 2005-2006 for Rs.
Wide Dr. no: 2005-06
