First of all, you need to configure a WiFi network. For this procedure to work, you need to be in a WiFi zone that will allow you to connect to it. Every time the ARCHOS is in range of a network that you have already configured once, it will attempt to make a connection.

* For free access WiFi points, there is no need to enter any special information. For secured networks, you will need either a key (a series of numbers and/or letters) of the type WEP, WPA, or WPA2. Refer to your WiFi provider to obtain the exact connection parameters required.

Connect the supplied USB cable to the ARCHOS and to a running computer. The ARCHOS will turn on and ask you if you want to connect it. Tap on Mount to connect it. Within a few seconds the ARCHOS will appear as an icon on your computer. You can transfer your media files to the ARCHOS either by copy/pasting them into the respective folders using Windows Explorer (or the Finder on a Mac), or by using Windows Media Player. Open Windows Media Player and then use the sync tab to synchronize your music, videos, and photos onto your ARCHOS. See Windows Media Players Help to learn more about this. Once all your file transfers are finished, close Windows Explorer and any other program that may have read or written to the ARCHOS. Click on the safely remove icon in the system tray, next to the clock. You can now unplug the USB cable.

Tout dabord vous devez configurer un rseau WiFi. Pour suivre cette procdure, vous devez vous situer dans une zone WiFi vous permettant de vous connecter. Chaque fois que lARCHOS dtectera un rseau que vous avez dj configur, il tentera de sy connecter.

1 Pour configurer un nouveau rseau WiFi, allez sur lcran daccueil, appuyez sur longlet Applications

, puis slectionnez Paramtres.

2 Dans lcran des Paramtres, slectionnez 3

Connexions sans fil et rseaux.

Si le WiFi est dsactiv, appuyez sur la ligne Wi-Fi pour lactiver. Puis, slectionnez Paramtres Wi-Fi. LARCHOS recherche les rseaux WiFi disponibles et les affiche au bas de lcran.

4 Appuyez sur lun des rseaux disponibles proposs, saisissez les informations rseau demandes*, et appuyez ensuite sur se conecter

Votre ARCHOS essaie alors de se connecter ce point daccs WiFi daprs les paramtres rseau saisis prcdemment.

* Pour vous connecter un rseau WiFi ouvert, il nest pas ncessaire de saisir les informations rseau. Pour un rseau protg, vous devrez entrer une cl (une suite de chiffres et/ou de lettres) du type WEP, WPA ou WPA2. Se refrer au fournisseur daccs Internet pour obtenir les paramtres de connexion exacts.

Connectez le cble USB fourni votre ARCHOS et un ordinateur allum. LARCHOS sallume et vous propose de le connecter. Slectionnez Monter pour le connecter. Aprs quelques secondes, lARCHOS apparat sous la forme dune icne sur votre ordinateur. Pour transfrer vos fichiers sur lARCHOS, vous pouvez les copier/coller directement dans les dossiers respectifs de lappareil (avec Windows Explorer ou le Finder sur Mac), ou vous pouvez galement utiliser Windows Media Player. Lancez Windows Media Player, puis utilisez longlet synchroniser pour synchroniser vos chansons, vidos et photos avec votre ARCHOS. Consultez laide de Windows Media Player pour en savoir plus ce sujet. Une fois que tous les transferts de fichiers sont termins, fermez Windows Media Player ou tout autre programme susceptible dutiliser lARCHOS. Zunchst mssen Sie Ihr WiFi Netzwerk konfigurieren. Dazu mssen Sie sich in Reichweite eines WiFi befinden. Der ARCHOS wir dann jedesmal eine Verbindung mit einem der bereits konfigurierten Netzwerke herstellen.

Unter einstellungen whlen sie Wireless & netzwerke.

Um ein WiFi Netzwerk zu konfigurieren, gehen Sie zum Home-Bildschirm, tippen Sie auf die Registerkarte Anwendungen , und whlen Sie Einstellungen.

Wenn das WiFi ausgeschaltet ist, drcken sie die WlaN Zeile um es einzuschalten. dann whlen sie WlaN-einstellungen aus. der arCHOs wird die verfgbaren WiFi- Netze suchen und sie auf dem display anzeigen.

drcken sie auf das Netzwerk, mit dem sie verbinden mchten, geben sie die erforderlichen Netzwerkinformationen ein* und drcken sie dann auf verbinden. ihr arCHOs wird nun versuchen, eine verbindung mit diesem WiFi-Hot spot aufzunehmen, mit den von ihnen eingegebenen Netzwerkparametern.

* fr kostenlose WiFi-Access Points besteht kein Bedarf fr das Eingeben spezieller Informationen. Whlen Sie die Option Mount (Bereitstellen). Innerhalb weniger Sekunden erscheint der ARCHOS als Symbol auf Ihrem Computer. Sie knnen Ihre Media-Dateien durch Kopieren/Einfgen in die jeweiligen Ordner auf Ihren ARCHOS entweder mit dem Windows Explorer (oder mit dem Finder auf einem Mac) bertragen oder indem Sie den Windows Media Player verwenden. Verwenden Sie den Windows Media Player (Tab sync [synchronisieren]), um Musik, Videos und Fotos Ihrer Wahl auf Ihrem ARCHOS zu synchronisieren. Weitere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte der Windows Media Player-Hilfe. Sobald die Dateibertragung beendet ist, schlieen Sie den Windows Explorer und alle anderen Programme. Klicken Sie auf das Sicher entfernen Icon in der Ablageleiste neben der Uhr. Sie knnen das USB-Kabel jetzt entfernen.
