Two particular themes stand out: poor communication, which can have a serious, direct impact on patients care; and in a small but increasing number of cases, removal of patients from the GPs list, often without warning or opportunity for both sides to talk about what happened. As GPs prepare to take on greater responsibility for commissioning patient services, this report provides an early warning that some are failing to handle even the most basic complaints appropriately. http://www.ombudsman.org.uk/listening-and-learning-2011/home Local Involvement Networks (LINks) annual reports 2010-11 Department of Health This report brings together information on resources, activity and outcomes from the Local Involvement Networks (LINks) annual reports of 2010/11. Measuring change in health care equity using small area administrative data: evidence from the English NHS 2001-8 This study developed a method for measuring change in socio-economic equity in health care utilisation using small area level administrative data.
