University of Delhi is one of the twenty elite Central Universities across India. CBS is the only constituent
college of the University of Delhi offering undergraduate business degrees at the undergraduate
level.
The courses equip you with the necessary competence in key business functions, thus enabling you to
embark on challenging and rewarding careers, as well as postgraduate studies.
Presently, we offer three 3-year full time degree courses, ‘Bachelor of Business Studies’ (BBS), ‘Bachelor
of Financial and Investment Analysis’ (BFIA), and B.Sc.(H) Computer Science. The fourth course
is a one and a half-year postgraduate full-time diploma course leading to the award of ‘Postgraduate
Diploma in Computer Applications’ (PGDCA).
An experienced and well qualified faculty, and the cream of students selected through an all India entrance
are the lifeline of this flagship institution of the University of Delhi. All this, added with a good teaching
culture and ethos gives us the position of leadership amongst all other colleges imparting undergraduate
business education in India.
In today’s economy, a sound managerial education is a pre-requisite to success. In this scenario, CBS offers
an exalted position by providing excellent management education right at the undergraduate level.

VISITING FACULTY
CBS aims at helping you to achieve a balance between academic rigor and exposure to a wide variety of
experiences in commerce, industry and government, which is a necessity of modern management.
These four ideals drive us at CBS and foster an atmosphere where you excel and achieve, with concern for the
environment, and an underlying integrity. These ideals have shaped CBSites into mature, goal-driven
professionals, with innovation, dynamism and a positive spirit.
“The eclectic mix of students which CBS consistently attracts, coupled with a very relevant
and practical curriculum makes the three years a very thrilling, action packed and enriching
period. We are unlike other colleges in University of Delhi which are practically dormant
through out the year and just liven up before the year end exams.
The three years in CBS have helped in shaping the right perspective and thought process in
me. I treasure all the experiences, interactions and friendships I developed in those WONDER
YEARS of my life.”

“CBS is a lot of sweat and toil, requiring you to stretch your limits to compete against brilliant peers. At the same time I
have found close friends, with whom I have spent many light-hearted moments that will always be cherished. CBS will
mould you into a mature, observant and focused individual. It will instill a strong base of managerial knowledge that has
a lot of recognition in the corporate world.” – Vinit
TRAVEL
At CBS, students from all over Delhi and the National Capital Region congregate for an unparalleled business
experience. On a given day, some of our students travel as much as 40 kilometers to reach CBS. They confess
that the distance actually renews their commitment to absorb the maximum learning each day.
We are comfortably connected with the whole city through the Delhi Metro and other modes of public
transportation. The Shahdara Metro Station is less than a kilometer away from campus. Some students use
private transportation. Car pools are another popular mode of commuting.
AROUND CAMPUS
The fun quotient at CBS is emerging as the object of envy of other colleges from the University of Delhi.
Within an intimate radius of the campus are finest malls (CrossRiver, Pacific, EDM,…) and multiplexes.
The international standard Yamuna Sports Complex and the Central Business District are a stone’s throw
away.
