L W Parry have been in operation since 1 July 1956 and recently has become a family business run by Alan, Adam and Lisa Moore. With an expert staff of fourteen they specialize in the machining and repairing of automotive, diesel and vintage engines. Parry's apply modern techniques and technology to the rebuilding of all the vintage engines that was not available when new. In the 1970s and 80s Lynx was a market leader in Australia for mounting Weber, SU and Dellorto carburetion to its own range of manifolds. The decline in their use and the use of unleaded petrol in fuel injected cars saw the demand for such manifolds decrease. However, mostly due to internet access, interest in Lynx manifolds has been rising. The company is considering casting a complete range. The first of these is the BMW 2002 manifold seen here but at its peak Lynx offered 250 different manifolds.
