JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE DEPARTMENT REPORTING TO PURPOSE OF JOB To achieve corporate fundraising income targets for the partnership. To devise and implement creative profitable fundraising campaigns with businesses, engaging their employees and customers, monitoring progress and evaluating benefit. To act as the day to day manager and central point of contact for the partnership, ensuring the strategy is fully implemented and partnership well serviced. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Specific Projects To manage corporate partnership maximising potential income To achieve income targets To devise creative and innovative fundraising campaigns using a range of fundraising techniques Account Management To liaise with corporate contacts, build and develop relationships To assist with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to Working with the Project Manager, devise a detailed tailored plan that maximises income in the short and long term To ensure account meets its income targets To effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of targets To prepare presentations, proposals, plans, contact reports as necessary To evaluate and document partnership, ensuring all activity is recorded accurately on database To ensure the partnership is consistent with BHFs healthy living principles and corporate guidelines at all times To promote BHF events, campaigns, sponsorship, payroll giving and volunteering, maximising income potential from all opportunities Provide reports and analysis as required To input creative solutions to maximise opportunity To ensure that all income is efficiently recorded and provide analysis using the organisational database Key Account Manager Corporate Partnerships Home Retail Group Project Manager

Organisational To monitor income and expenditure and resources e.g. merchandise, fundraising materials Establish and build effective and productive relationships within the Corporate Partnerships Team Keep up to date with developments in the Corporate and Charity Sector e.g. news and competitive activity Maximise opportunities which helps the BHF achieve its core objectives and which are presented by the partnership

Work With Others Work with National Events and Community Fundraising Dept. colleagues to meet partner needs To work with other departments in executing corporate projects and plans Work closely with Project Manager, Head of Account Management, the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the Foundation to inform, promote and deliver the Corporate Partnerships Strategy Attend internal meetings, seminars, working groups, provide reports and analysis as required General To raise awareness of the BHFs work and the urgent need for funds To support and work within the framework of the Fundraising Strategy positively at all times To support the Project Manager and Head of team/department as required Support partnership as required some travel necessary To represent the Project Manager and Head of team/department as required Any other duties as may be required

Person Specification Essential Desirable Educated to degree Marketing/fundraising level or above qualification Exceptional experience Experience of working in managing multi on national, multi-site functional projects with a fundraising particular focus on partnerships fundraising partnerships Experience of working Good working with Raisers Edge knowledge of MS Word, Excel and ability to use databases for recording and reporting Good team player Good planning and prioritising skills to manage a varied and pressurised workload while focusing on the "Big Picture" Diplomatic and persuasive, able to build objective lines of argument/rationales for action and present viewpoints assertively Proven track record of delivering creative solutions to overcome obstacles and enhance profitbaility Ability to network with, and influence, senior people both internally and externally in order to achieve a pre-defined outcome Understands and applies commercial and financial principles to improve performance. Focuses on the achievement of financial targets and views issues
