Project Works
Paint Brush This was my first ever project. I did it in Level-1, Term-2. It was a C project in which I used igraphics (a project which used openGL libraires). It included almost all the features of MS Paint such as : drawing all the basic shapes: circle, line, rectangle, polygon with variable pixels, inserting text, use of different colors, redo, undo, saving file etc. It had a nice looking interface. Media Player It was a java project. It was done as a part of Object Oriented Sessional course in Level-2, Term-1. I used JMF(Java Media Framework) in this project. It could play both audio and video files with all the popular file format(mp3, wmv, wav, mpeg etc.). Here I used multithreading. It has all the basic features of a traditional media player such as play, pause, stop, track change, shuffling, creating library etc. Fashion House Management System It was basically a database project and was done as a part of our database sessional course in Level-3, Term-1. This was a web based business solution. Here user with different privilege was handled. There were 4 different types of users: guest, member(user who signed up), designer and admin. Members could search any product based on different parameters such as most populer, most sold, category, size, color etc and buy or order products of their choice online. Designers could submit their design online and Admin could monitor and control all the transactions. Technology used: Oracle 10g, ASP.Net with C#, HTML, CSS. Online Real Estate Management System : It was a part of Software Development course. This is a online automated real estate management system where selling, booking, order options are available for customers with compatible admin panel. The interface was designed using Microsoft Expression Blend 3. Technology used: Oracle 10g, ASP.NET with C#, Microsoft Silverlight (Expression Blend 3), WCF. Implementation of Unix File System Here an efficient and flexible file system for UNIX operating system was implemented. In this project all basic data structures of UNIX file system like inode, super block, boot block etc were used. The system was implemented using UNIX c language. Implementation of Unix Memory Management System In this project a Dynamic Memory Manager was implemented for Unix System. The system was capable of allocating and releasing variable size block and splitting and merging of distributed block dynamically. The system was implemented using UNIX c language.
