New Hope for the Holidays!

Seasons Greetings from the New Hope family to your family! Christmas 2011 is almost here and we want to wish everyone in the community around our church a joyous holiday season. If this Christmas season finds you down and depressed due to job loss, the economy, illness or whatever the reason, know that you can have new hope and a new beginning through Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate each year. We invite you be a part of a loving church family that will help you through the rough spots. If you have a church home, we praise God for that. But if you do not currently attend church, we are here for you in your neighborhood. Stop in for a visit and a warm welcome! RH

A Message from Our Pastor

This mailing is prepared especially for those who live near our church. For many of you, New Hope is the closest church to your home. We are anxious to know you better and for you to know more about us. New Hope is a 200 year old church that is in the process of making a new beginning. New Hope Church at this time is a small church. Our average worship attendance on a regular Sunday is 65. Yet, it has a good balance of ages -- about one half of those attending each Sunday are 18 years old and younger. Our staff and lay leaders see New Hope like a new church development. We do not intend to stay small. We have an ideal location. The buildings are all debt free. Much of my experience has been in new church development. We have a young and very competent staff. Rev. Brad Unland, our youth pastor, is in his 30s, is a graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary with a major in youth ministry. Ben Spicer, our music minister, is in his forties and has a college degree in Christian education and music. Both have been very successful in their respective fields. New Hope is set for new beginnings If you are open to a new church beginning, we invite you to come aboard and help us build a new church in this ideal location. It is a joy to see a little church take off in growth. If that is a challenge for you, come on. We will be glad to work with you. VB
