Joanne Ramsey, tournament co-manager, runner-up Eric Cornog, Masters Champion Sean Riccardi, and Ray Yates, co-manager. Cornog earned his way to the championship match going through the winners bracket defeating Walter McKnight of Brick, 413-322, Shawn Slocum of Ewing, 426-423, Louis Gaudio Jr of Staten Island, 366-364, and William Ripley of Burlington, 446-387, before meeting Sean Riccardi in the fifth match which sent him into the losers bracket, 379-418. Cornog then defeated Slocum again 421-412, to meet Riccardi in the Championship match. In the championship match, Riccardi reigned supreme when he met Eric Cornog, where Riccardi was the victor with a close 4-count win talling 426 to Cornogs 422. Honor scores bowled in the tournament were: 11-in-a-row games were rolled by Sean Riccardi, Andrew Suscreba and Antony Buonanno of Belleville. 156 participated in the tournament.

ROCKAWAY, NJ Danny Nykforuk topped the scoring in the County Tuesday Night Mixed League firing a high game of 276 and a high series of 774. Ed Pico rolled 257-748, Daniel Lorezo 256, Nichole Spratford 231, and Mickey Pukas 203. In the Womens League Lois Kehmna rolled 211, and Susan Chilemi 182.

By Vince Albrecht Montvale, NJ - After struggling in his opening game, Boontons Patrick Teshima figured it out in a hurry, stringing ten strikes from the third frame in game two to finish with league high game of 280 in Stan Niemiec Youth Travel play at Montvale Lanes. The 15-year-old Montville sophomore raised his average to 183 by virtue of his 619 set, a personal best. His performance helped the Boonton foursome capture three of seven points from Fair Lawn, salvaging the finale thanks to his 190, Erik Kattermanns 189 and older brother Karls 182. Fair Lawn took the first two games as individual average leader Jaylin Floyd burned the maples with 263-644 with help from younger brother Justin 206 and 12-year-old Tyler Nappi 169. Rob Gilbert, Jr blazed his way to a season high 279,227-705 in leading Bowler City I to two of three from Bowler City IV. After a slow start, teammates Eric Grabusnik 203,206 and John Draney 232 answered the call for the victors who put together scratch scores of 820 and 833. BC IV had two above average games from Jenai Bacote, Kendra Chaiken and an above average third game from Arielle Wallace and Mariah McKelvey; Mariahs 140 was tops for her team. A gifted Holiday quartet tore up the plastics with a spectacular third game 942 scratch, completing a dominant three game sweep of Bowler City II. Ramapo senior Kevin Macchia posted 223-223-259: 705, Dillon Cilento 202-243, Nick Cilento 200-220 and Indian Hills senior Emily Ostapczuk 211-220. BC IIs 12-year-old Kyle Schellberg found the range with 248-606 and Nick Reyes added a 198. Rounding out match play, Montvale swept past Bowler City III behind Bobby McCarthy 233218: 617, Shannon Rossi 204-201, Matt Hauser 211 and 11-year-old Matt Russell 194. BC IIIs Alijah Jackson rolled 184-176 and Nick Ferrante came through with three well above average games to finish with 171-474.
