THE PROPOSAL MUST BE ABLE TO CONVINCE THE FUNDING AGENCY THAT YOU HAVE THE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE TO ACHIEVE THE STATED OBJECTIVE AND THAT YOU HAVE A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO MANAGE THE PROJECT AND COMPLETE THE PROJECT EFFECTIVELY.

Conclusion
Only 2% of institutions getting R & D support accounted for 50% of

funding. This may be due to lack of exposure among the faculty of

many academic institutions, lack of motivation among faculty and absence of conducive research environment and facilities. Regional conferences such as the one being organized by Sona College of Technology may help faculty of academic institutions to become aware of the opportunities of Government Funded R & D projects for academic institutions and take advantage of the same.
