GPS Connectivity
Some devices have external GPS hardware module, and it may be removed from the system. Previous version would not have noticed neither removal of the module, nor its re-insertion. This is changed now, and if the external GPS module is removed (or internal is "disconnected" for any reasons), this is properly shown on Map Panel where the GPS signal strenth is usually shown (as red "x"). New ini file options (Main section): - NumRetry = 25 - RetryPeriod = 200 - ReattachPeriod = 10 These options dictate behavior of the application once the loss of communication with GPS device driver has been established, these are defaults (if none specified in the ini file).
Night Mode
The night mode supported only the map drawing, while all the menus etc did not. Now all of the GUI elements support the night mode.
Lane Assistance
Lane assistence has been added. This feature can properly function only if the maps support lane assistance information, and if the currently selected language has Text To Speech support implemented. The featue is by default enabled, to disable it put "LaneInfo=0" to the [Main] section of the ini file.
Crash handling
In this version, it the application crashes, the exception is caught and recorede to the trace file, along with some basic state of the software data. A new Ini file parameter controls if the application should be automatically restarted in situation like this: CrashRestartPeriod = 0. Default is 0 meaning no restart, user should provide number of seconds to restar application.
2. If MultimapDir is defined in Ordinale.ini file (and directory contains map files), multimap is used 3. If there is any SD card with Maps directory in its root (containg valid map files), multimap is used 4. If there is Maps subdirectory (containing valid map files) in the application directory, multimap is used 5. Single map is used If multimap is used, all the maps found on all Maps directories of all SD cards (if any) are loaded. Also, all the maps in the MultimapDir (if defined) are loaded. If MultimapDir is not defined, and Maps directory exists in the directory where the application is stored, then all maps from that directory are loaded. In the case that either MulitmapDir or Maps directory in the application directory is already loaded (i.e. it satisfies the rule 3, being on the SD card Maps directory), it will not be loaded twice. If however we have map of the same country (possibly exactly the same map) no SD card, and in other location (Maps in application directory or in MultimapDir), then both will be loaded and it will not look nice.
Digital speedometer
If the analog speedometer on the driving page is clicked, the new digital speedometer is shown instead. Clicking on it brings the analog speedometer back.
