15. A youth centre organizes a Christmas party for its members. The total expenditure ($E) consists of two parts: the first part is the cost ($C) of hiring a school hall and the second part is the cost of food and drinks. The cost of hiring a school hall is constant and the cost of food and drinks varies directly as the number (N) of members. If there are 50 members, the total expenditure is $2 500. If there are 100 members, the total expenditure is $4 000. (a) Express E in terms of C and N. (b) Find the total expenditure when the number of members is 80.
