And Theyre Off... the Tingles leave for Nicaragua

After returning from our missions training last fall, weve been fundraising and spreading the word about the work God has called us to in Nicaragua. As I write this, we have just three more days before we leave. Our material belongings have been pared down to just 12 trunks, Waynes truck has been shipped ahead of us, my truck just sold today and our house will hopefully have renters by this weekend. Gods faithfulness has been displayed to us over and over again as weve walked this path. He has made a way for us, when our esh told us to throw in the towel, or just not bother even showing up. He orchestrated our introduction to LifeLink International, the organization were going to work with. Through LifeLink, Hes provided a network of people in Nicaragua who are eagerly awaiting our arrival. People that want to help us, encourage us and support us. Hes provided two church families to link with us in a prayer and spiritual covering that steels against any attacks. Your prayers, friendship and faithful giving mean the world to us -- but more than that, they are the carrier of change for the people of Nicaragua! Were excited to see how a measure of faith and the support of an amazing team of prayer warriors and nancial supporters is going to radically change the lives of the people of Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua! Wayne is eager to start building the school at the LifeLink base and I cant wait to start teaching English classes. We hope to start helping with the ongoing ministry work at the base as soon as possible. But before we get to that, well be attending language school and immersing ourselves in the Nicaraguan culture. When we arrive, well be moving in with a host family while we attend school. By Thanksgiving, we hope to be looking for our own home and to be a lot more comfortable with the language and culture.

Prayer Requests what you can pray for specifically

* Safety -- we have counted the cost and chosen to follow this path, but that doesn`t mean it`ll be safe. Please pray for protection -- physically, mentally & spiritually. * Favor -- we will be working with a government that would prefer we not be there. Please pray for hearts to be softened. * Relationships -- God works through people, through their relationships and communities. We are blessed to be joining LifeLink International. Please pray for our work and personal relationships. * Finances -- we`ve been blessed by so many pledges of support. Please pray for faithfulness and blessings for our supporters. Please pray for us to have wisdom in how to spend those dollars. * Our Family -- Please pray for peace in our family, for a closeness that will stifle homesickness, for our marriage to be strong, for our girls to be comforted. * Boldness -- Please pray for courage and boldness as we share God`s love. Pray that He will work through us and LifeLink for His glory.
