Working as a SW QA at EMC I have got familiar with software development and project life cycles, earned skills
on software debugging and bug fixing using various internal industry test tools. Work closely as a team with the
developer to identity the cause of the failure with the code or the hardware and suggest fixes in the shortest time
possible. Increased the yield of software tested to 85% by working with the clients.
I have more than 4 years of programming experiences in language including C, C++, assembly, Java, MySQL in
the projects:
Operating System Implemented process scheduling, distributed file system, memory management,
deadlock and security in a simulated hardware and gained kernel level debugging experiences.
Computer Network - Designed a Location Client and Server using TCP protocol. Wrote web client,
implemented distance vector routing algorithm, oracle server. Deepen understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP
congestion, OSI seven layers, wireless network, and protocols- SMTP, FTP, IP, DHCP, ARCNET, UDP
and TCP and 802.11
Embedded system - Developed a complete standalone embedded computer system using a mix of C and
assembly language. Implemented buses for advanced IO design and standard bus timing and interface
Familiarity of RTOS, ARM and MIPS architecture, JTAG, in-circuit emulator, logic analyzer.
Digital Communication Solved complex problems on modulation, demodulation scheme, optimal
receiver design, fading channels, spread spectrum, multicarrier transmission and multiuser
communication in MATLAB. Performed error performance of systems over noisy or band-limited
channels.
Beside my technical expertise, I also have excellent problem solving and teamwork skills combined with the
discipline to work elegantly on my own if required, and would be well suited to a dynamic and progressive global
industry such as Qualcomm where innovative hard work is rewarded.
