Holiday Project

Holiday Program
Thank you to Mrs. Harding, the kids and parents for a great holiday program! All of the kids that had a speaking part did so great! Thank you for helping your child practice at home! Winter weather is Here!


Please make sure your child comes to school with appropriate weather gear that is LABELED. If there is snow on the field at all, only children with snowboots can play on the field! Also, please be sure to pack tennies on P.E, day. Food Drive
Thank you so much for filling our boxes with non-perishable items for the food drive. We provided over 6,000 pounds of food for families in need! Way to go Ponderosa!!!

Santa Project
On Wednesday your child should have brought home a letter explaining the project, a piece of black construction paper and a paper with Santas face, gloves and boots on it. Please create a new suit for Santa to wear and mount it on the black construction paper. Remember to HAVE FUN and BE CREATIVE!!! We are soooo excited to see all of the suits Santa comes in! Dont forget to do the writing piece of the project. This writing will make all of our work with ADJECTIVES that much for meaningful. We will be sharing these the week of the 19th so make sure they are here by then!

Fun Website
We heard about this neat website that we wanted to share with all of you! If you go to the Build-A- Bear Workshop Website, your child can talk directly to one of Santas Elves! Your child will need help with this as they have to type in their name and a message. We thought it might be a fun thing to do as a family!
