HISTORY

Embutido is a type of meatloaf prepared Filipino style. Though a well known dish for the holidays, Embutido can be enjoyed every day without any hassle. It is a Filipino celebration staple. One usually finds embutido served on birthdays, on holidays, and on other celebratory days. One can describe embutido as a meat log or a meat roll, usually made from ground pork, stuffed with eggs and one or a variety of other meat-products, and studded with raisins and peppers Vegelicious Embotido is a name of our business proposed plan. Vege is the first four letter of the word Vegetable and licious means delicious. We composed this name because vegetable is our main ingredient in embotido and vegetables are delicious, and other than that, it is nutritious.

TYPE OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATION Since we are composed of seven (7) ladies, each one of us decided and agreed to be partners. We preferred to use Partnership as a type of our business organization. Partnership- is a type of business organization where two or more persons bind themselves to contribute money, property, or industry to a common fund, with the intention of dividing the profit among themselves. Why we preferred Partnership? Collaboration

1. Partnership brings greater financial capability to the business. 2. Combines special skills, expertise and experience of the partners. With partners to share the responsibilities and lighten the work load members of the partnership often find that they have more time for the other activities in their lives. 3. Offers relative freedom and flexibility of action in decision making. Two heads are better than one. Tax advantages 1. The profits of a partnership pass through to its owners, who report their share on their individual tax returns. Therefore, the profits are only taxed once (at the personal level of its owners) rather than twice, as is the case with corporations, which are taxed at the corporate level and then again at the personal level when dividends are distributed to the shareholders. Simple operating structure.

A partnership is easier and less expensive to organize. No forms need to be filed or formal agreements drafted (although it is advisable to write a partnership agreement in the event of future disagreements).

Flexibility

1. Because the owners of a partnership are usually its managers, especially in the case of a small business, the company is fairly easy to manage, and decisions can be made quickly without a lot of bureaucracy. It is more personal and informal

SITE PREPARATION Since our business is food manufacturing. We prefer a site where in far away from pollution and crowded areas, so that our product would not be contaminated. We decided to buy a space near to cities and markets, where our target dealers are sari-sari stores, groceries, canteen or eateries. We also consider the stores and canteens nearby the boarding houses and dormitories where in busy people such as students and employees are in need of affordable but nutritious easy to prepare meals. We chose the location at Lipay, Villasis, Pangasinan. It is about 200 square meters and 50 meters away from the National road. It is an ideal place to establish a manufacturing business because we have easy transport and sell our product. We found out that in this area we dont have competitors. Other than that it is not a flooded area. Our target dealers which are located in villasis market, asingan, rosales, urdaneta city, binalonan and sta. barbara are not too far from the manufacturing area. Based on our survey we found out that their embotido is expensive because it came from far areas like pampanga, manila, bulacan and other places. Since our product is made from fresh vegetables and little meat, we decided

our product to be less expensive but nutritious and delicious. We agreed that the manufacturing area should be ventilated with a 3 ceiling fans and we also decide to put a radio to make our employees feel comfortable and inspired to do their work.

TECHNICAL ASPECT In technical aspect it identifies whether the product, could be produced at the highest possible quality level with minimum cost. In this aspect we will discuss the product itself, the manufacturing process, size of manufacturing area and production schedule, machinery, manufacturing location and lay out, structure, raw materials, utilities, waste disposal and other information deemed necessary in determining technical feasibility.
