OPERATIONS
Extended Hours of Operation for Agent Support Center (ASC) Starting January 3, 2012 In an effort to better meet your service needs, we've extended our hours. Effective January 3, 2012, the ASC's new hours of operation for all Agent calls will be 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday. Currently, the ASC accepts Commissions- and New Business-related calls from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. CT and Inforce calls from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CT. Operations Tip: For Faster Processing, Include Agency Contact Information With Requested Inforce Policy Changes The Inforce Operations team handles any change to a policy after it has been placed in force. Examples of requests typically handled by the team are increases, decreases, reinstatements, conversions, reissues, beneficiary changes, disbursements, billing changes, etc. Agencies needing assistance in fulfilling requests should include a cover letter, complete with details and all applicable Agency contact information in order for the Inforce Operations team to: Request additional information and forms Alert the agency if a request is denied Keep the agency informed about the status of the request Shorten processing time Typically, if Inforce Operations does not receive a cover letter, they will communicate directly with the client on the request. If a cover letter is included, however, the Inforce Operations team will email or call the Agency if additional information is required. If Inforce Operations does not hear back from an Agency within 48 hours, the Inforce Operations team will contact the client directly to expedite the request.

NEW BUSINESS
New Business Tip: Pre-Authorized Check/Withdrawal Plan (PAC) Reminder When submitting a PAC form either with the application packet or with the delivery requirements, please ensure both the policy owner and depositor sign the PAC form when applicable. If the policy owner is also the depositor, then only one signature is required for placement. PAC forms can be located on TransACT under Transamerica Forms. The form number is PAC10609T. Now Submitting Replacement Applications in the State of Washington Is Easier Use the attached sample of the Important Notice Regarding Replacement of Insurance form as a guide to help complete the actual form that accompanies new applications (Washington only).
