Polyvinyl chloride (known as PVC) is a widely-used substance. It is essentially derived from simple ingredients: Petroleum, titanium and salt. It is a hard plastic that is made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers. In terms of revenue generated, it is one of the most valuable products of the chemical industry. Globally, over 50% of PVC manufactured is used in construction. In addition to its good physical properties, PVC has excellent chemical resistance, long-term stability, flammability resistance, good weather ability and insulator electrical properties. The diverse slate of vinyl products can be broadly divided into rigid and flexible materials. According to the result of window material combustion test with wood, aluminum and u-PVC conducted by Zurich fire brigade on February 16,1973, the u-PVC windows had been proved to have no damage and met the "stipulation of combustible building materials used in high rise building .

Impact Resistance:
U-PVC profiles are uniquely designed & specially formulated to withstand high impact. It has an impact resistance of 3kg at 1m in height at 23 deg. C.
