Second Semester, Academic Year 2011 2012 Prof. Joy B. Lacson, R.N., M.N. Class Adviser The meeting started at 03:57 PM December 8, 2011 (Thursday) at LDT 205. The minutes of the previous meeting (dated September 27, 2011, first semester) was read to the class by the Secretary Ann Margaret Pilla. No amendments and objections were raised. The minutes were then approved as a true record by the Coordinator Ann Marie Roldan and accordingly noted by Prof. Joy B. Lacson, Class Adviser. A printed copy of the minutes was provided to the class adviser. The assistant coordinator keeps the electronic copies of the minutes of meeting. The meeting was then presided by Prof. Lacson The agendas for the meeting are as follows: - School Calendar - Attitude of Students - Rules and Regulations, Proper Conduct - Absences and Late(s) Incurred, Incident Reports - Mission and Vision Statements of Central Philippine University and the College of Nursing - Christmas Party Agenda 1. Prof. Lacson enumerated to the class some noteworthy dates for the second semester: December 12 14: PreLim Examinations December 18: Start of Christmas Vacation January 3: Classes Resume January 17 19: Midterm Examinations January 23 27: CEW Convocations February 2: Jaro Fiesta February 11: Evelio Javier Day February 15 17: PreFi Examinations March 1: Colleges Day March 2: CPUR Elections March 20 23: Final Examinations Prof. Lacson reminded the class to study well for the examinations before the examination schedule. She further added that the dates mentioned are as far as the October 24, 2011 revision of the school calendar only and changes may be made soon. She also encouraged

the class officers to run for the upcoming elections of the student government. Agenda 2. Prof. Lacson reminded students of their attitude, not only in the clinical area but also in the school premises and when out of duty. Prof. Lacson stated that the class should be analytical in their attitudes because they are wearing the uniform that symbolizes Central Philippine University College of Nursing. Proper decorum must always be observed. She further added that even though this reminder was repeated for many times already, this must be continually done because she doesnt want to see records of BSN 3-F and other nursing students due to misconduct. Agenda 3 and 4. The rules and regulations of the university and the college were again reviewed. Students were reminded to act cautiously in the clinical area, under the supervision of the clinical instructor to avoid Incident Reports. Haircuts of the male students were also checked. Uniforms, including the shoes and aprons for ladies, must be neat always. Agenda 5. Everyone is also reminded to memorize the Central Philippine University and the College of Nursing Mission and Vision Statements and the Core Values. Also the students are encouraged to familiarize the Quality Policy of the college. These are not only for the preparation of the upcoming accreditation but also for the students to feel the Central Spirit, she further added. Agenda 6. Prof. Lacson asked the class when the Christmas Party will be. Various questions were raised by the members of the class. Prof. Lacson requested the silence of the class and asked if who wants to have a Christmas Party (12 votes were counted). The question was asked again and 15 votes were counted and 20 opposed. And so the class decided that there will be no Christmas Party for this year and that everyone is encouraged to enjoy the season with their family and loved ones. The attendance was again checked by the coordinator. Prof. Lacson announced that the next meeting will be scheduled with the class coordinator next month. There were no questions, comments, reactions and objections raised and so the meeting was concluded. The meeting concluded at 4:30 PM. It lasted for 33 minutes.
