Notes: 1. Humidification is optional, but desirable in many situations. The potential for visible or concealed condensation determines maximum RH for a specific dwelling in a specific location. 2. Pressure drop across the filter must be compatible with blower performance/capability. 3. MERV = Minimum efficiency reporting value (an ASHRAE efficiency rating metric for filters). 4. Use Manufacturers performance data to verify that supply outlets have the correct throw when delivering the design CFM. 5. Per ACCA Manual J, average-sealed is defined as duct leakage at 0.12 CFM/ft 2 of supply duct surface area and 0.24 CFM/ft2 of return duct surface area.
