Why NTUT ?
I have been compelled by a deep sense of responsibility to lead and develop the University into an internationally renowned and technologically innovative flagship of higher academic institutions.
-- Dr. Tsu-Tian Lee, President of NTUT
Why NTUT ?
The multiculturalism at the NTUT is great. In Department of industrial Design, you need to enjoy making things work, whether its getting a design completed and verified, solving a problem or thinking about how to make the things look good and functional, is great to work with some equipment in the Workshop. Working hard is essential but you also need to enjoy what you do. I was fortunate, as an outdoors-orientated person, to find myself in this country and amongst people who help me to feel like at home. In my first semester I met my classmates and I was feeling very welcome; now I've had a great experience here, sharing with Taiwanese people and learning about their customs and ideas. Academically, my host department is oriented more practically orientated than I was used to, which was a challenging but worthwhile learning experience.

When I started looking for universities in Taiwan, lucky me! I found NTUT which is the best and prestigious university I like and cherish so far. Why? Because this environment is like a home to me, because the school have got so many African students that I really feel comfortable at any time. Beside, all the school staff and the office ladies are always willing to help when you need them. I like NTUT and I will always recommend it to my friends back home when they ask for better university to study aboard.
Mira Department of Business Management (Bachelor Degree)
This is my first time living and studying abroad. Its a big challenge for me. One of my handicaps is the language because I havent learned enough Chinese before I came to Taiwan. But with the help of my friends, now I enjoy living and studying in NTUT, Taiwan. NTUT has a good academic atmosphere and friendly people. The teachers in NTUT have professional experience in industries so they can direct the students with industrial related application of the theories they learned in class. I think this is a big advantage for students in NTUT, Taiwan.

NTUT is a great place and also in the department of industrial engineering. You just need to study hard and enjoy the student life. I remember my first day in NTUT when I met my classmates and my teachers I was feeling so happy. At the same time I was surprised because my new classmates try to speak with me in Chinese, English, and some were trying to speak to me in Spanish. NTUT is a very good university and I encouraging you guys to come to study at NTUT.

Student Life
As a long-standing school, more than eighty thousand alumni had graduated from NTUT, they organized the clubs for themselves not only in Taiwan but overseas as well. Also, to better the connection among alumni, we established a particular organization in NTUT to offer services of connections between the school and alumni. The aim of this organization is to focus on preaching the faith of the school leaders, and assisting the graduated alumni in applying jobs, scholarships and continuing their study. Every November, on the schools day, the University would elect the remarkable alumni and also support the clubs new founded and the related activities financially. Each club would represent one person as a guest to participate in this big event. The University encourages every alumnus to experience every important moment in the business field with school. Principal often visit those great alumni, along with the top leaders of school. Raising funds for the construct the campus is also one of the main works of this organization. NTUT has maintained a progressive vision and a commitment to innovation and research. Our reputation is built and enhanced by the outstanding faculties and the high-achieving students. Our graduates experience academically rigorous programs that prepare them for the highly competitive global job market or, equally, for a career in academic research. Our programs prepare you to become a leader in your chosen field. You will benefit from the breadth of research opportunities and industry experience available to you through our close links with business, industry and government.
