The Child Care Resource Center provides referrals for child care and other services to parents, and training and technical assistance to current and prospective child care professionals. The CARE center program provides assistance to child care professionals and parents in working with children who have behavioral challenges. The Parents as Teachers program offers home visiting services to improve parenting skills and identify developmental delays. The Local Childrens Board raises awareness of childrens issues in the county and helps to secure funding for community and school-based programs to support children and youth.
