Setup: A playing area 2x3 is recommended. Opposite sides of the playing area are designated for each player, and the alien shrubs and rocks are setup across the center. You can also place vehicles, wads of paper, or other obstructions at random locations across the table for cover. Roll initiative to see who sets up first, the winner can chose to set up first or last. Each player sets up their units on opposite sides of the playing area, touching the edge. The Game: Two scout details confront each other across an alien landscape. Alerted to the presense of the other each desires to be the first to inform their command of the enemy location. If both sides get through the advantage will be lost, the only choice is a quick and bloody duel to the death! Victory Conditions: Full Victory for the Powered Armor Troopers: Capture at least 1 enemy unit, and capture or kill the rest. Partial Victory for the Powered Armor Troopers: Capture or kill all of the enemy units. Partial Victory for SheeTok: Capture or kill all of the enemy units. Full Victory for SheeTok: Capture at least 1 enemy unit, and capture or kill the rest. Further Challenge: You can also make use of Dirt Cheep Terrain (available for a nominal charge at the MicroTactix website: http://www.MicroTactix.com) for a more complete battlefield. Tools Required: Scalpel or sharp-bladed hobby knife Metal ruler or straight-edge Cutting surface - a self-healing cutting mat is recommended, but a sheet of corrugated cardboard or even heavy poster board will work as well. Glue - white glue, glue stick or wax stick. Double sided cellophane tape also works well. Rubber cement can be used, but will sometimes stain the cardstock or make it more difficult to color. The pieces in this set will construct using one of two methods, the Stand-Up Method or the Box Method. To construct a piece using the Stand-up Method, cut out the piece and score as indicated. Fold the piece in the center and fold in the two feet, gluing one on top of the other. This will create a triangular shaped stand-up. To construct a piece using the Box Method, cut out and score as indicated. Fold the piece into a four sided box and glue the tab on last wall to the inside of the piece. Other instructions for particular pieces are given below. Page One contains all the stand-ups and cards necessary to play this game Page Two contains various props for this set. The trees are folded into an upright triangle and the tab is glued to the inside. To construct the rocks, fold down all four sides from the top and glue the tabs to the inside.
