Game (speaking exercise); material: flash cards; Whose shoes are these? Whose dress is this? (invite 1 volunteer, give her flash card. Ask other children: whose dress is this? They need to say: This is Suzannes dress etc. Additional question (revision from before) What colours her dress? What colour are his trousers? AB open. Homework, AB p. 17. 7 check Listening: AB p. 16. 6 Listen and write: Mollys or Lukes Explain homework: AB p. 17. 8. Homework for next Monday, 23rd January! Song: we need energy CB p. 15 . Whats the weather like today? Bear routine (those who understand the weather question wake up Bear) Bear wants you to sing. Look through the window. Flash-card activity (raise when hear the word in the song) Flashcard drill sequence: 1) handing out cards-calling out cards 2) whats this? (be quiet, raise your hands if you know it-receive the card if you know it); then write weather words on the board and ask them to read the word- be quiet: hands up Stardust PMB 35 (trace the weather pictures and words)- depending on the class, I might have them stick sheets into notebooks and have them do it for homework Put up the months poster- sing the song with Bear: January, February, March... Check if they learnt it and if they can tell the difference between regular and irregular verbs themselves For both groups: explain the negative and the interrogative form.
