ARS-GLASS REPAIR FABRIC

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ARS-GLASS REPAIR FABRIC is a membrane consisting of continuous fiberglass threads woven perpendicular to each other and coated with a polymeric binder. A 20 x 10 thread count provides larger mesh openings, improving penetration and encapsulation of fabric with the mastic. ARS-GLASS REPAIR FABRIC is compatible with both hot and cold applied materials and water-based elastomeric coatings. It offers higher tensile strength and lighter weight than other reinforcements. Glass will not rot as well as mold, algae and mildew resistant. RECOMMENDED USES Wherever a reinforced, stabilized waterproof application is desired. INSTALLATION Apply a film of the hot or cold coating/mastic product to the surface, in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Embed ARS-GLASS REPAIR FABRIC into the material using a brush or broom with enough pressure to force the adhesive through the mesh openings and around the fabric strands. Conform the fabric uniformly to the surface, avoiding over-stretching, bridging or fishmouths. Apply a final coat of the hot or cold coating/mastic product to the surface, in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Ensure that no fabric weave is visible or exposed. STORAGE LIFE This product has a shelf life of 1 year; protect from freezing during shipment and storage. PACKAGING ARS-GLASS REPAIR FABRIC is available in 6 x 150 and 12 x 150.
