his week, we got to have a sit down with everyones favourite rock front man from Russian Ambush, Jacob Ellis. And we got to ask him all the questions; you want to know the answers to. So Jacob, how does it feel to front one of the most well known rock bands of our time? Well naturally it feels rather nice, I dont think its really sunk in yet, ask me in a few more years, maybe Ill know then

India, definitely, because its a beautiful country with an amazing culture, and well, lets face it, amazing food. Your opening act is That One why did you choose these to tour with? Well, they sent us a long letter saying how much they loved us and how much they wanted to tour with us, so we thought we would give them a shot. I listened to some of their stuff, and I have to admit, theyre pretty good.

What track from the new album are you Youve been in a band now for about 3 most excited about? years, played countless shows, and headlined Reading/Leeds twice, do you still get Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Id say my favourite is nervous, or are you used to it all? Jeffersons Creek because it has this amazing drum beat and when the guitar solo kicks in, it Well, were used to the small gigs, but then just brings the whole track together you get the big gigs at the festivals and youre like This is f*#king huge but you just look at the crowd and youre like Woah What has been your favourite experience? Whats been your favourite experience so far this year? I would have to say, meeting the Enter Shikari boys was my favourite thing to happen so far. Probably playing Reading festival because the Theyve been a favourite band of mine for ages crowd was huge and it was very nice and buzz- now, and I finally had the chance to tell them. ing and sh#! like that Plus theyre amazing people, I think we could become good friends So, youre doing a world tour this year, what country are you looking forward to So youre a big Enter Shikari fan? most? Hell Yeah! I love enter shikari, Ive been a fan for as long as I can remember. Ive loved them since they were Hybrid. Ever since I first heard them on one of the smaller stages at Reading, I dont think Ive had a day without listening to them. Who has been your biggest influence? Some of the greats have influenced me, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Iron maiden were some of the biggest. Ill always love them and always be influenced by them More over the page
