Working Experience Summary


Inspiron PTE LTD 2009 Introduced by robotics research lab manager, I worked on a project as Assistant Trainer. Job scope is to help student in designing, building and programming mine sweeping robot using PIC controller and organize a mini robotics competition. 2009-2012 Carry out independent programming contracts which obtained from online freelancer forum. Freelancer projects are usually taken during school breaks.

2009 Self motivated to take part in RWS Kinetic Art Design Competition while having FYP. As a group leader I designed and programmed for the futuristic magic ball myself. Won merit prize. 2010 I was group leader in Poly FYP. The object was to design and build 2 robots within 6 month. Robots participated in Singapore Robotics Games Robot Colony Category. Won 2nd prize. 2011 My task was to design and build an exo-skeleton armor from scratch. As a group leader I taught a group of freshmen with no engineering background to deal with various difficulties 2011 I was working as a software engineer in a team which participates in international Taiwan Autonomous UAV Competition. I programmed the UAV robot to fly for 8 kilometer all by itself and take picture at 4 GPS point autonomously. Won Champion prize. 2012 Current project I `m working as group leader to design and build an Octocopter with Kinect and single board computer on UAV for autonomous navigation. UAV is design to explore GPS & vision mix-guidance system and it will take part in Singapore Autonomous indoor flying competition SAFMC 2012. 2012 Current project Work as a programmer to take part in USA UAVforge competition. The objective is to design and build a UAV with computer vision and laser scanner to perform autonomous obstacle avoidance, car tracking, photo taking and flying for 4 km autonomously
