Activities
The Juvenile Welfare Board Umerkhadi remands the Children here. It was established to look after the children of working women's from the slums and chawls at villa Vicenta near the Cathedral of Bombay. A home only for girls. Apart from school education and university degree courses the Children are sent for typing, tailoring and computer classes. Started embroidery and fashion designing classes. Engaged in following activities: Orphanage/Hostel, Educational, Vocational and Womens Employment Admissions are given to the girls sent by the Juvenile court and also to the orphans directly referred to the Ashram. Boys over 6 years are transfer to other orphanages. It has been rendering dedicated services towards protection and rehabilitation of underprivileged children in society. A home for children with a section for unwed mothers, a nursery for infants, a special care unit for HIV +ve children and a centre for rehabilitating abused minors. Ms. Eliazabeth came to Mumbai and we escorted her and her family to Asha Sadan where she lived for five years as Jayashree. It was a very emotional home coming for Jayashree.

Mrs. Pat Buswell is trying to get details of her Mother and Aunt who went to England when they were 13 and 10 years old Mother Teresa Orphanage, Parle to the United States Navy. Rishi wants to contact his family in Mumbai and we are trying to organize his meeting with his biological parents.
