A very nicely designed trolley jack, low profile but with a good lifting range of 84-355mm. The thick gauge folded steel body with cast steel pump components gives great strength. The pump lever socket swivels for extra convenience whilst good sized wheels ensure easy moving around the workshop. Axminster 2 Ton Engine Crane
This engine crane has a maximum weight capacity of 2,000kg but can also lift 500kg with the jib extended fully. The outrigger arms can easily be folded for transport or storage in the workshop. There are six cast steel castors to allow easy mobility. The lifting range is 25-2,000mm so an engine can be lifted clear out of the engine bay with little effort. The widely splayed outrigger arms will allow this crane to be used to lift machines or other heavy items around the workshop. However, modern ultra low temperature, cryogenic methods of tempering means stainless steel tools are now available.
