MODERNISED TRAIN SAFETY DEVICES BASED ON MICRO CONTROLLER , GPS @GSM TECHNOLOGY

INTRODUCTION

Railway this Indian Railway, this term represents the Indias largest transportation mediums. Today railway is the back done of the country. It facilities in moving large amount of cargo and millions of people travel daily from place to place. It is the cheapest medium which is affordable to every class of society. Unfortunately hundreds of people die in rail accidents due to lack of resources, so as to provide a person at every railway crossings. Any government cannot spend corers of rupees to keep a person on every crossing. Through at initial stage this may require some high amount of capital but at later stages, the cost come down. A prospective contraption of and 8051 micro controller based automatic railway accident preventer is deemed to be a noticeable turning point as this is micro controller control and can efficiently do the work without any mistakes. GPS receiver for receiving the signal from satellite for own location 15 GSM for inform the location to railway station

APPLICATION 1 The micro controller is control the train to stop at railway station and open the compartment gate, announcement and station name display 2 Also we can controlled the train ( start and stop ) by computer using c program 3 Automatic announcement inside the compartment when train reach at Platform 4 Micro controller based automatic controlling of train 5 Automatic stop at railway station for 40 second when the train reach at railway station 6 After announcement it start automatically after40 second 7 Messages are stored in EEPROM 8 Check the validate of the ticket if the ticket is valid the Entrance gate will open otherwise it will remain closed 9 The GPS & GSM used for finding the location of the train 10 According to the red ,green signal train will stop and move 11 Unmanned automatic railway gate is controlled by micro controller
