Mrs. Fatima L. Paepka Principal Xavier University Grade School Dear Ma am/Sir: The Xavier Science Foundation Scholars Association is making a project entitled Share-A-Book. This project aims to initiate a book drive for the students in Kiam-is Elementary School, to encourage grade school students to read. Many of us are privileged to have access to books that we need in order to learn. Unfortunately, we also know that there are other schools whose students are not as lucky. These students go to school deprived of even the most basic reading materials. We know what difference can a book make in our lives and we want to share that difference. By supplying underserved children with book at no cost, these children will ultimately access to greater opportunities in life and learn the joy of reading. With this, we would like to initiate a book drive (used books such as story books & educational books, among others) in your school. Books that we collect will be donated to Kiam-is Elementary School. Beginning November 10, 2011, we would visit different schools to promote this initiative and start the process. We would greatly appreciate if you will allow us to enter the school premises and reserve a space where boxes can be placed for the book drive. We are hopeful that together, we can help in providing education to deprive communities. Should you have further inquiries, please feel free to contact us at 09058828068/09072081567 or email at smdg16@yahoo.com. We look forward to your positive response. Thank you. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

Sincerely, Ms. Shela Mae De Gracia Project Head
