Today, February 19, 2012, is Transfiguration Sunday, the final Sunday before Lent. Today we commemorate Jesus glorification on a Galilean mountain before the journey to Jerusalem that will end in his crucifixion. We are very pleased to have you with us as we worship Gods Beloved today.

Our guest preacher is Bart Cochran, who will become the pastor of Southwick Congregational Church in Southwick, Massachusetts, in April. Bart and his wife, Valerie Eastwood, are former members of Ravensworth. We are pleased to welcome Bart to the pulpit today, and we wish him and Valerie the best on this new stage of their journey.

We will celebrate the Lords Supper during worship today At the Lords Table, Jesus is the Host, and all are welcome We invite all baptized Christians to join us in sharing Communion with Christ and with one another
