Instructions for Use
This workbook is designed to be used in conjunction with the ‘Active First Aid’ manual. Questions for
the written assessment of this course are drawn from subject matter provided in the text of this
workbook.
After reading the relevant sections of the text, candidates are required to answer each question
corresponding to the section of this workbook.
This activity is to be completed prior to your attendance at the practical course component. All
questions must be attempted. If you have any problems please bring these to the attention of the
instructor during the practical component so that a full explanation can be given.
This workbook is a mandatory requirement of this first aid course. Only applicants who successfully
complete the self-assessments in this workbook will be able to attend the face-to-face session. Please
check with your course trainer for any other specific requirements.
