Global Warming Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing us today.

To protect the health and economic well-being of present and future generations, we must reduce our emissions of heat trapping gases by using the technology, know-how, and we practically exhaust. Tropical forests are a source of emissions for many developing countries, but slowing deforestation can not solve the climate problem by itself. As the forest-rich developing countries, measures to take responsibility for reducing their emissions, all industrialized countries should not only support their efforts, but most importantly, reducing their own emissions, and efforts to prevent dangerous climate change. Over the years we have heard a lot about the causes of climate change, that we have missed the fact that there is a simple, practical that can slow the growth of this problem. Today there is technology that can cut emissions of heat trapping gases and make a real difference in the health of our planet. And this would be a good solution for our economy, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and improve our energy security. Global warming is not only convenient means of February in northern climes. It also means more hot days in summer, and a series of negative impacts that are already under way and expected to increase coming decade. Once the heat wave that will increase the risk of heat-related illness and death. Cities and nations along the major rivers will experience more severe and frequent flooding. Some regions will tend to be more widespread and prolonged drought. -Some of our favorite low-lying coastal and holiday regions, such as the Florida Keys and Cape Cod, will be much less appealing as sea levels rise, dunes rusty, and the areas become more vulnerable to coastal storms. -Many families and companies, who have been living from fishing, agriculture, and tourism may have lost their livelihoods, and others who love hunting, boating, skiing, bird, and just relax on the nearby lakes, rivers, and wetlands will see some of the their favorite places irretrievably changed. Solutions to climate change here and now it's time we put them to use. If we start today we can tackle these problems and reduce the unpleasant waiting for our results if we do not do anything. The steps we need to take is common sense. And, more often than not, they will save consumers money. The cost of inaction, however, is unacceptably high. The scientific consensus is in our earth is warming, and we will help make the occurrence by adding more heat-trapping gases, mainly carbon dioxide / CO2 into the atmosphere. The combustion of fossil fuel / oil, coal, and natural gas alone account for about 75 percent of annual CO2 emissions from human activities. Deforestation-the cutting and burning of forests that trap and store carbon-accounts for about 20 percent

other. The delay is not an option. Scientists agree that if we wait 10, 20, or 50 years, the problem will be more difficult to address and the consequences for us to be far more serious. We treat our atmosphere as we did after our river. We used to throw garbage into our waterways thoughtlessly, believing that they were limited in their ability to accommodate the waste. But when entire fisheries were poisoned and rivers began to burn, we realized what a terrible mistake. Our atmosphere has limits. CO2 will remain in the atmosphere for 100 years. The longer we stay pollution, the longer it will take to recover and irreversible damage will be done again. Fuel-efficient vehicles. Energy. Protect endangered forests.Common sense solutions not only reduce global warming, we will save lots of money and create new business opportunities. Best of all, now there is a solution. We just need to insist that business and government take the necessary steps to make them available and affordable. Then we have to let consumers know what to do and provide incentives to help us all make better choices. Here are five steps that make sense are available now and can have a major impact on the problem of CO2 will remain in the atmosphere for 100 years.
