Installation Procedure:
Step 1: Find main switch ON/OFF on the box of the Gsense and switch it OFF. Step 2: For biasing of the circuit, 12V+ on the connector box, connect biasing wires coming from the 12V DC Source (Battery). Keep in mind that biasing is polarity sensitive. Connect GND pin of the module to the common ground of the Battery set. Step 3: Step 4: If Genset starts with NC(short, Normally connected) logic then connect two wires of the Genset with the GEN NC and GE 24V+ on the connecting box is for battery voltages (0-50 V DC) for sensing the battery signal to be measured for decision. N COM. Leave GEN NO dead. If Genset starts with NO(short, Normally Open) logic then connect two wires of the Genset with the GEN NO and GEN COM. Leave GEN NC dead. Step 5: If ALARM start with NC(short, Normally connected) logic then connect two wires of the Alarm with the ALARM NC and ALARM COM. Leave ALARM NO dead. If ALARM start with NO(short, Normally Open) logic then connect two wires of the Alarm with the ALARM NO and ALARM COM. Leave ALARM NC dead. Step 6: Swith ON the module

Programming Procedure
How to ON the Gsense? Switch on the main switch on the box of the module. LCD Light will turn ON and something will looks like this in the fig below

Dont do any thing and just wait for a while LCD will show of another message like

The following screen shot shows the next step of the gsense. This is the main screen of the module which presents the present condition of the genset, Temperatur, and battery voltages.

T shows the Temperature 00:00 shows the Pakistan Standard Time B 00.0 shows the battery votages 0009:30 shows the genset remaining running time. If Genset time is not displayed thats mean that Genset is forcefully stopped by Gsense.

How to change the Settings?

Press Menu button.

When LCD displays the message of Password looks like

Enter Password: To enter Password use keyboard buttons. There are four buttons on the key board. Password is also 4 digits. To move to the other digit press Menu bautton and to change the digits for entering password just use increment and decrement buttons on the keyboard. Default Password: Tetra zeros(0000) is the default password. When u enter the four digits LCD will display another message looks like below

In the above diagram Change password message is being displayed, if you dont want to change the password dont press any button LCD will display this message only for 3 seconds and will move forward to the message as shown below

This menu if for setting the Generator minimum running time, 10 minute is the default value, to change the Generator minimum running time use keyboard increment and decrement buttons. ( you can change the time from 10 minute to 24 hours). After setting the time of the generator press the Menu button to move for remaining settings.

When the Menu button will be pressed after setting the time of the generator LCD will display the message like

This menu is for setting the battery minimum threshold value. This can be set with the help of increment and decrement buttons on the keyboard. After setting the battery threshold minimum value press the menu button to move forward.

Above figure shows the setting for VZEC(Voltage Zero Error Correction). How to set? If module shows 0.6 volts less than the actual voltage then you have to put +0.6 VZEC. Change the VZEC with the help of increment and decrement button.

This menu is for setting the temperature maximum limit. Use increment and decrement button and press menu button to move forward.

This menu is setting the GMT. Use inc. and decrement buttons to set the hours and press menu to go for minutes and set minutes and press the menu to move forward

This menu is for Gen set OFF mode,(in this mode Genset will be forcefully stopped at any cost and will not make decision on the basis of Battery voltages and temperature). To set the Genset off mode LCD first show of the message like above fig it is night start. Use keyboard to set the sleeping start time and press menu button to go for the sleeping end time.

Set the Genset end time and press menu button to save the time and moving forward.

To save all the values press menu button and to discard press Mode button.

When LCD displays like above snapshot use dont have to enter any thing it is information window. In the above diagram it is being communicated that temperature is 73 centigrade Battery voltages are 30.4v and standard time is 00 hours 22 minute and 15 seconds.

When LCD displays like above snapshot use dont have to enter any thing it is information window. In the above diagram it is being communicated that temperature is 99entigrade Battery voltages are 30.4v and standard time is 00 hours, 24 minutes and 47 seconds. Here is another message being displayed in the above diagram in the right lower corner of the LCD. It shows that generator is running and 9 minutes and 55 seconds are remaining for the generator more running time.

How to change the setting again?

Press menu button again and user will find the all messages discussed above to set the all values again. User can change all the values by the methods discussed above.

How to see the present setting?

Press mode button one time user will find like

This figure shows that Temperature maximum limit is 80 centigrade, Batter minimum threshold value is 23.5v and Generator minimum running time is 10 minutes. After this, another display will be shown by the LCD after 5 seconds

The window above shows the saved time by the generator till the time.

How to see the logs?

Press mode button long (for 3 seconds) LCD will displays like

When user press mode button for long time ( more than 3 seconds) and releases, LCD will display like above diagram. In the above diagram D for days. TIME for the time at that time logs were saved. BAT means the Battery voltages at the time. G for generator ( if G=1 generator was running if G=0 genset was off.). T displays the temperature at the time.
